And I was just wondering, why you joined Gaia?
I joined a long time ago because of another friend. I hardly ever got on (partially because I had dial-up then). Now that I'm on a lot more often, I find it a cool place to just be. Like my own little world, but not the one inside my head. sweatdrop

A friend got me to join, and my account just sat there a while, and I forgot the password. I gave it another try and created another account, started visiting the threads, and then one of the events got me to be more hardcore addicted.
Gaia is where I made my first net friends (on another account)..... 2 yrs later I found my other account and have... become rather addicted to the threads and avatar creation.

I love that part, too.
(I just wish some of it wasn't so damn expensive.) I find that the trick to that is ignoring your gold completely. Act like you don't even have it and just play on the boards and what not. Then all of a sudden...

Hmm. I'll have to try that. How long can I ignore my gold....?
