The forest was oddly dark for dusk. Light seeped through only a few parts of the trees, but it was still bright enough to see. Winds blew all through the forest, sending shovers up a lone male's spine. It was a sad day for a trainer with no pokemon, but there was always hope. Why not make it a good day? Sighing, the male figured it would be fun to swim.
Aaron slung his backpack over his shoulders and took off into a jog, his shoes thudding against the ground in a rythmic pattern. It was a lulling sound, making him more aware. As he ran, he had left his backpack open, so he hopped on one foor a few paces, taking off his shoes and socks, then throwing them into the backpack. Not so bad, he was wearing shorts, why not just go in like that?
Smiling happily as he stepped next to the tributary of a river, he paused to place all of his things down.

Heila ran through, kicking up dirt in her wake as she stopped by the river. Bending her head down, she lapped at the water. Running ahead really did take a great deal of energy out of her. Picking her head up, she sniffed up and noticed the figure of a male. Immediately, she began to growl. "Hound!" she barked defensively at the human. After such a bark, she lashed out at the human running towards him to gain a bite.
"Oi, Heila! Where are you?" called the quirky female voice from the forest. She came out riding on her Stantler, the beast capable of supporting the female's tiny frame. "You know you shouldn't run ahead like that!" Meeka said, sighing. "Right Ebba?" she said towards the Stantler she was seated on.
Ebba twisted his head about, flicking his ears and directing them to any sound that was heard within the forest. He clopped himself forward and tilted his head. A male? Rarely did there ever seem to be strangers wandering around in the forest like so. Eying Heila, he nosed the air and let out a small cry of, "Stant."
Heila dropped to the water from the voice of her trainer and immediately turned to be greeted of the eyes of her. Her ears perked up at the cry of the Stantler and returned to them both, taking a seat to the side of the him.
Meeka smiled down towards her Houndour before looking back up. "Okay Ebba! Ready to- Oh goodness, I'm sorry!" she said embarrassed as she covered her eyes; red. "I didn't know you were going to take a bath! Sorry Sorry Sorry!" But due to the fact she wasn't holding on to her Stantler as her hand were on her face, she began to slide off it. She tumbled to the ground, hitting her bum hard against it. "Ow!" she yipped.
Ebba just snorted and nosed his trainers shirt before pulling her up. It was common.
Meeka smiled sheepishly as she was pulled up. "Thank buddy." she said lightly patting him on the head. Covering her eyes again, she laughed. "S-sorry for disturbing your wash!" she said.
