Totally.
Luckily though, when anything Phantom-related comes on anywhere, their Phan side resurfaces. Mine is just always on the surface, I guess.

Well, the lady who sings at my church (Whom I often call Christine, while the organist plays like an Erik) is actually auditioning for Phantom! No, she's not going for any big roles, she's just trying out for the chorus... But Still! She may very well be in Phantom of the Opera! She was the only Mezzo Soprano (I THINK thats what she said, but I'm not good with voice lingo) so she thinks she'll get lucky. She finds out in September.

That's neat.

Someday I'll try out for something like that...won't make it, I'm sure, but still.

So this morning I was babysitting at the local dance studio, during a Jazzercise session.

Well, what song do they start dancing to but the techno PotO. I seriously sporfled.

Especially when all the moms screamed whenever the singer screamed/hit the high note at the end.

Hehe...

We always lose stuff in the percussion section in band, I blame Erik for not wanting the players who suck to play.

Our director blames it on us wanting to tick him off.

We used to do that too in high school...we called him the Phantom of the Band Room and blamed him for weird occurences during band.

"He played the trumpet so much that his face melted!"

In other news, my music teacher was telling us today how to use tunes we know to find a major sixth down when singing, and she said,

"Oh! I just thought of one! I don't remember the name of it though...or the name of the show..." and hummed the song.

Someone said, "Oh, you mean Music of the Night?"

"Yeah, that's it!"

I thought, "You mean there are people who don't know the name of that show? I thought it was like, super popular..." Heh.

Ok kiddies, true story of utter sadness.

It was my first time seeing phantom ( Yay Rob Lorey! Understuides rule!! stroke that phantom throne!) And I was sitting by myself with my dad behind me. This girl and her parents sit down beside me and I decide maybe we'll be phantom buddies. Here's our conversation
Kat: Hi!
Mlle Frigid:... Hello....
Kat: Is this your first time?
Mlle Frigid: uh huh * nod nod*
Kat: Me too! When did you start liking the show?
Mlle Frigid: Oh, I've never heard of it ( nail one in my coffin) My parents brought me along ( Nail two) I don't really like theatre. ( nail three...I'm dead and buried!)

I was so sad... It's not her fault she doesn't know the joy of Phandom. Maybe that show changed her mind. I jsut didn't know people could be so passive.... * hugs knees to chest*

My friend John has the most beautiful singing voice. I managed to get him to sing Music of the Night, its something I will never forget as long as I live.

I'm also questioning his sanity at this time, he's always talking about how if he were a murderer he'd want to be called the Muffin Man. Oo

EDIT: My gym teacher called me 'The Corpse' yesterday, said I looked like I'd been dead.

The Phantom actually IS in my everyday life.

No joke.

He's my musical theatre teacher at college. xD He's currently the understudy in London, so me and my college went to see him a couple of months back, he was amazing! It was amazing! Love it.

Mainly whenever anyone says a significant word, I assosciate it with the book or musical. For example "Decided"=Point of No Return, "Dead"=Erik, "Yellow"=Erik's skin, "Abhorrent"=Down Once More...The list goes on forever sweatdrop But anytime I hear a word of the song, I start singing it blaugh Anyone else do that?
