I think the music is very lovely and the song is very beautiful as well...but not for Erik. He wouldn't stoop so low as to pity himself and act 'emo' and whatnot.
It's a pretty degrading song for Erik...
I'm glad they left it out and had Learn to Be Lonely playing in the credits.
