How sweet, thank you Lyn! But I'm not that good. The first two I messed up on and didn't realize that the word "Fan" was in the Guild name. And then the other day I was invited into another Vampire Guild and they had an artist who makes the coolest graphical banners. If I had a better program to work with I'm sure I could make much better banners. I'm put to shame when I look at this other guild's banners. sweatdrop

My Animated VHD Gif thread
I could show you how to make animated gifs? My Animated Gif thread even has the program I use to put the animated gifs together. You need a good image editor/program and converter to make gifs from bitmaps. And you need a Animated Gif Construction/Maker Program, like UnFREEz or Photo Shop. The most difficult part of putting together a animated Gif is making sure all the frames are the exact size and that the frames are in the right order and at the best resolution possible. Unfortunately better quality means bigger file sizes. And Gaia has bandwidth laws. Putting one of my large VHD gifs in your sig could get Gaia all upset. sweatdrop  378.23 KB | 21 Frames

Probably for the same reason that Gaia turns off the Sigs at events like the Halloween or the Anniversary kind. Signatures tend to slow down browsing because when you open a thread, your computer has to wait for all those sig images on a page to download. The bit sizes that are really large take longest to load and people get pissed. So Gaia tells members to reduce the sizes of their sig bit usage or face penalties like having your sig turned off permanently. My animated gifs are kind of large. Basically they are like movie clips, or like a mpeg video without the player. Thats why they are so big. You can post them in profile pages or on threads but not in sigs. It would piss off too many Gaians.

oh yea, that would make a lot of sense.
but what about the text stimulator, from tektek.org? they have something to where they alter each letter of a text from one color to another. though its just text, it has that limit too. would the image idea apply to text as well?

I believe that even text uses up bandwidth. And some chat rooms and Instant Messengers have character length limits. Gaia may have that too especially within a sigs. Did you know that even NASA has bandwidth issues on the Space Shuttles? If they over use bandwidth on a Shuttle in there computers, it could be as serious as life and death; if their computers were to crash or over load. gonk
