It's my honor to welcome you to my first ever wrestling role-playing guild, Championship Wrestling League (CWL). I have not been role-playing for very long but I know I've got all it takes to be a great booker and run a fantastic guild. Just by reading this I'm assuming you have at least the slightest amount of interest in this guild, and that's good. Please stick around and maybe, just maybe you'll find enough interest in this joint to have to check every twenty minutes and type until your fingers bleed. Maybe.
The Breakdown-
This is a sub-forum by sub-forum breakdown. What each one means if you will.
CWL Test Drive- The show, where the matches happen. Where the magic unfolds. Each and every match card will run for three weeks. Within the three weeks you'll have plenty of time to post in your match, cut a promo, make yourself stand out from the rest of the roster. After the three weeks are up I'll close the forum, come up with the results, create an ending to every unended match, and post the results. Here, the definition of auto-wins is when your oppenant has not responded for three days, and that includes the time stamp. Auto-wins are when your oppenant has not responded in four days, again time stamp is included.
Pay-per-views- After two cards have finished, closed, and the results are posted, I'll open the Pay-per-views. The PPV's will also last three weeks but I do expect more out of everyone, including myself. Please utilize the backstage area, general managers office, and locker rooms if we have them.
Crew Forum- You don't really need to worry about this, but the moderators are here to help me. They help enforce the rules. Please respect them, if they are moderators that means I put my trust in them and there descisions are final.
Website, CWL.com- This place is fun! You've got a lot of room to play around here. Maybe an online show? Or maybe some merchandise your character wears? There's going to be some sort of Top Five each week as well as results and what not.
CWL 24/7- It's the archive, check up on all the previous matches, promos, vicious backstage attacks here!
Contenders and Championships-
What's a wrestling show without Champions and other people trying to be become Champions?
Becoming a Contender- First I need to see that you are good enough to become a champion here. If you are I'll place in a number one contender match against someone who I believe also has what it takes to become a champion. Having a feud here is wonderful and appreciated. Be honest, when you watch to people feud over becoming number one contender it's far more interesting than just seeing one match where someone wins and it goes on into the championship match. So make it interesting.
Championships- I do expect more out of the champions. That means no slacking off, I will strip you of the title for not being active. You've got a championship belt, use it! Post in your entrance, post backstage, demand more respect, demand more competition! Become the best champion there is! Make matches awesome. There's no "Champions advantage" rule here, you can win by disqualification or count-out.
Rules-
Oh come on, you knew they were coming.
1.) Follow Gaia T.O.S- I'm assuming you know that already
2.) Remain active- Please tell me or another mod if you're going away or quitting
3.) Use some creativity- Seeing the same thing every week gets old, that's why you're here and not watching WWE, right?
4.) Respect the mods- They're my eyes when I'm not around
5.) Mind your own business- Don't post somewhere, like a promo or a match, if you don't have any business being there. If you're feuding with the person or have a tag team partner involved in it you can. Don't do it just because you want to.
6.) Do not god-mode- "John Cena connects with the FU on Triple H and wins the WHC!" is wrong. "John Cena attempts an FU on Triple H, if it connects he would go for a pin!" is right. Even if it sucks.
7.) Use proper grammer- Or do as best as you can.
BREAKING ANY OF THE AFOREMENTIONED RULES WILL RESULT IN TEMPORARY BLINDESS, UNCOMFORTABLE ITCHES, LACK OF SLEEP, OVER SLEEP, DIARREAHA, CONSTIPATION, LOW BLOOD PRESSURE, LOW SPERM COUNT, UNCONTROLABLE BLADDER, PERMANENT JOBBING, AND/OR DEATH
No I'm just kidding. Really, if you do break any of the rules you'll get a warning at first and if you were a champion or contender you'll be removed from the title picture. After a second violation you'll be removed from two cycles (and again you'll be removed from any title opportunties). If by some chance you're not too smart and there's a third violation you'll be banned.
