Xavier flicked his wrists about, which were solely chained by a ring of fire. The fire created a cloud of steam against his arms, and he growled in complaint. "Let me go, you dousche."
Xan didn't bother reply. He dived into the lake that they had walked up to without hesitance, and with a jolt, Xavier was pulled him after him, sputtering and complaining all the way. As his body slid into the water, the sleek immortal vanished.
Fayt sighed. "They get all the fun abilities. I want to know how to water meld..."

Falina shrugged and jumped in after them. Her pets followed dutifully. While submerged, Falina quickly got to work on constructing an airtight barrier, and filling it with air.
Doro calmly swam alongside his mother, and, when she signaled that it was alright, inhaled a deep breath of air. He'd need to be calm if he wanted to do this without getting killed. He proceeded with a couple more deep breaths, paddling his way slowly- but making sure to keep up with his mother and stay inside the bubble.
The little orange butterfly looked around frantically. Why wasn't anyone else going up for air?! She was still holding her breath, and her supply was diminishing quickly. An arm rested on hers, startling her suddenly. She looked up and saw that it was Doro.
"Rithey, it's okay," he told her calmly. She exhaled loudly, and took a deep, gasping breath. He smiled- a reassuring, warm smile. "Everything's gonna be okay."
The group proceeded through at a steady rate, eyes peeled for the Guardian and God. The light grew dimmer and dimmer as they went on.

Avenger pulled off his mask and scarf and jumped in, along with Venix and kratos. he caught up to Falina swiftly, and Venix and Kratos followed. "we should find the guardian soon..." he muttered.
Kratos silently followed, moving next to Doro. he was nervous, and scared.
Venix moved next to Rithey, looking at her as they swam. "are you sure you wish to help?" he asked her.

Falina acknowledged them with a nod, but kept swimming- grim, determined, and silent as the grave.
Rithey swallowed hard and murmured to Venix, "Yes- I have to. I don't want Mommy or Doro or anyone else in Havaix to get killed." The little butterfly was tense and nervous, and, although Venix's presence comforted her somewhat, she was still stiff and fearful.
Doro could sense the young moon puppy's presence as he swam up beside him. Kratos was as scared as he was. The group progressed deeper into the black abyss, and the light grew dimmer yet. The blue bat swallowed hard, then finally broke the still, crushing silence. "How far deep is it yet, mother?" he inquired, attempting to keep the quiver out of his voice, "Would it be wise to draw a light?" The tension had swept all the usual casualty out of his voice, and his words were formal and stiff.
Exchanging a glance with Avenger, she replied to Doro, "I'm not quite sure how much further, but it can't be TOO far," she remarked, glancing around at the oppressing darkness, "we've already gone pretty far." Falina looked again at Avenger, trying to discern whether or not a light would be helpful.

[Ahhh.... sorry you guys. I had a long response all ready and done and then Gaia crashed on me. Just Gaia too. *growls*... gotta make something else up now. ^^;;]
The water began picking up, carrying the weaker pets with its rhythm.
Suddenly, Xan surfaced, taking a large breath... and stood with the water at his chest. "Listen," he said quietly.
The water continued to pull them all towards the left, Xan's right, but it was headed their continuously. It was accompanied by a dimmed thundering roar.
"A waterfall," Xan questioned lowly. His dark ruby eyes were cold. "Could it really be as simple as that? The lair... right there?"

Avenger sighed. he knew his pets weren't going to be able to fight the current, and he wasn't about to leave them. he was still doubting himself, but he knew he shouldn't. doubt would only make it ahrder. he trusted his pets, and thats what counted.

Xan slid back into the water silently and let the water carry him. It still supported them all gently, and soon they all were standing on the pebbled side of the waterfall, barely glimpsing the small cave behind it.
Suddenly, the water broke behind them. A gigantic creature made entirely of water stood before them, thin and agile, but as tall a 5 story building. It lunged into the waterfall and stood in the middle. All the water that hit it seemed to be absorbed by the form, and it steadily grew bigger.
"Xavier..." Xan started in a slightly amused voice.
"Damn it, go through all ready."
