i'd say name your clarinet after something that you like or one of your favorite anime/movie characters

Mine is named InuYasha....if you like anime name it after ur fav. anime char....or clef...i wish I could name mine clef...

my basses name is beast bcuz well it iz 1 lol
my Bbs name is squakey lol mrgreen
so depending , like name after traits its funny

Instruments each have their own personalities. Name it after something that tends to happen when you play it. I've found it's funny if it has a double meaning too. For example, my Bass Clarinets name is Rush. One of the greatest rock bands, and it's also what happens when I play him... Have fun with it though. biggrin

go with something more unnusual, my clar is still after me for not finding something good yet (she hates clara, she says it makes her feel like a nightgowned, hallucinating little girl), there's a site behindthename.com thats's great for finding unusual names, and more common names if u like them, but it gives u origins and meanings and stuff like that. goodluck!

i just found a few, condoleeza meaning "with sweetness"
Zimri means "my music"
Euterpe, means "delight" and was the greek muse of music and joy
