Niyana explained it to Ruque as they ate and cleaned up their plates. She knew Celebor would be so very proud of Ruque's growth. She wondered what the elf would say. She laughed to herself at the thought of Celebor saying they needed to have more children now.
After they were all cleaned she took them out into the warm sun." Alright we need a field near a pool or stream works best...if not just an open field."

Ruque grinned and followed his mother out into the bright sunshine.
"Well we can go out to the river," he suggested, "or maybe the pond or something ... there's lots of flat space there that we can use!"
He reached up and took Niyana's hand in his own, delighted to find that it was not only a comfortable fit, but also an easy reach. He giggled and skipped along happily, glad that he had grown.

Niyana took his hand, very glad that Ruque still wanted to hold her hand and loved showing attention to her. She smiled, "Yes there are lots of flat places. She smiled and started to walk.
She was heading towards a cave a few hours walks where a stream was too. That way they could listen to the cool water and swim if they wanted or got too hot.

Ruque grinned and walked alongside Niyana energetically. He had no idea where they were going, but he knew that she did, and so he wasn't worried about getting lost. Besides, what did it matter? He was going to be spending time with his mother, learning some more of what she had to teach him, and there was nothing that made him happier.
After a long time of walking (or at least it seemed like a long time to him), he looked up at her curiously and asked, "Where are we going, Mama? I don't think I've ever been this far from home, except when we went to see Corrah up on the mountain."

Niyana smiled, "Well its just a bit father. Its a nice stream with lots of flat ground and a nice cave if we get too hot. It is a nice little place to be. If you need a break we can rest for a minute if we want."
She let go of Ruque's hand to stretch a bit before retaking it. "Well we are near the base of one of the mountains. If you want we could go see your sisters and brother, and see how they are doing in their training.

Ruque looked interested at the idea of where they were heading, but at Niyana's suggestion that they visit the mountain and his siblings, he was a little more hesitant. He did want to show his siblings how he had grown, but on the other hand ... Rhea's energy was a bit too much for him, and Corrah still frightened him.
"Maybe we can just train," he said quietly, his hand gripping hers more tightly as he walked closer to her side.

NIyana nods "Alright then, just training it is." she figured she would go and see Armus another day maybe one of the morning before Ruque woke. She knew they had something to talk about. And well with Aras grown...she might want to see how her daughter and the wolf were getting along first then talk to Armus.
Seeing movement from the cave she knew caused her to shift a bit ready to protect Ruque if it were needed but seeing the pale figure of a doll she still did not fully trust she relaxed just a bit. "It looks like we are not the only ones here."
