Body build: Vel'andis is tall for a drow, especially a male, standing at 5'6" and has the lithely muscled build of an elf. His features are angular
Hair color/length/style: Vel wears his silver-white hair short in soft, ruffled spikes with two longer tendrils falling in front of his pointed ears.
Unusual Features: Vel's ears have silver scars at the tips, as if the tips had been cut off at some point and then healed. See also Markings below.
Tattoos/Markings: Vel has a tattoo of a black moon with a white ring around it on his forehead about his left eye (when visible). If Vel is without the bandages on his wrists or chest then the marks of Shar's Kiss should be visible, open wounds in the shape of full black moons which dot each wrist and his middle.
Clothing: Vel wears a tight fitting jacket with a mandarin collar in black, the long back of which flows to his ankles and ripples into shreds of shadow, or perhaps nothing. Unbuttoned to just above the belt, the buckle tooled with a dagger and web design, are hints of bandages that are also noticeable on his hands and wrists. Slightly loose purple-black trousers are tucked into fitted dark leather boots, without a heel so his steps are soundless. The only other items of note are the red-gold ring worked with a web design on his left hand, and the cufflinks, made in the images of a purple-limned black moon.
Jewelry: Vel has a red-gold ring on his right hand with an uneven web pattern on it.
Character Personality: Vel is quiet and reserved, a silent shade if ever there was one who rarely smiles and even then not usually with any warmth or meaning behind it. Only when around Adi, his fiance, or the rare few who can call the Ilharn friend is Vel a different man who genuinely smiles and jests and seems alive. Otherwise he seems blank and distant, emotionless and frozen.

Vel'andis Draconis is a drow grown, and tall for one too. Counting himself at five feet and six inches, he stands taller than most of his brethren. With a face to make the feminine heart skip a beat, it has finally settled into stern and grave manhood. A strong jawline with a slightly pointed chin, strong high cheekbones and unbroken nose are echoes of his father, whilst the wistful smile and burning red-gold eyes, long lashed, are the remnants of his mother. A shock of silver-white hair as been shorn short, standing in soft, ruffled spikes perhaps two inches long, tendrils framing before his upswept ears. Both ears bear faint silver scars at the tips, as if they have been cut off at some point then healed again. Ebon skinned like his ancestry would obviously suggest, he wears a tight fitting jacket with a mandarin collar in black, the long back of which flows to his ankles and ripples into shreds of shadow, or perhaps nothing. Unbuttoned to just above the belt, the buckle tooled with a dagger and web design, are hints of bandages, that are also noticeable on his hands and wrists. Slightly loose purple-black trousers are tucked into fitted dark leather boots, without a heel so his steps are soundless. As Vel'andis walks, he seems at every other step on the verge of becoming an indistinct shadow himself before fading back into reality.
