Once you watch the original Japanese films, the American ones are comedies. The Ju-On and Ju-On 2 are by far creepier and I have not looked at stairs the same way since, which sucks because my room is in the attic!!! crying crying crying

Grudge did really scare me. I get really scared with movies! xp I watched scary movie 3 after to become more calmer :O

i'm the type of person who is really freaked out, but cracks jokes to make the movie seem less scary.
Thats why no one wants to watch scary movies with me because I've ruined-
the grudge
Shutter
Prom Night (which actually was funny)
Silent Hill
and White Noise
lol I love the grudge

i barely ever watch scary movies cuz they don't scare me its just that i can't stop thinking about them after i watch them. the grudge is insanely scary. i once scared my friends by doing my imitation of the grudge, and one got nightmares that night. cuz my hair is really long and when i put it in front of my face and make those sound effects i look just like her. so im going to be her for halloween dance this year. i can't wait to freak out my friends. lol

I liked the Japanese version better. I watched that one first, so when I watched the english version, I wasn't even scared anymore, just surprised every now and then. My point--> Japanese version scarier.

the only parts which scare me in The Grudge are when she's coming down the stairs eek
and when she's crawling up the stairs in the apartment neutral
i really dont like things which move all jerkily, its creepy
