As most of you know theres good and bad foods to feed ferrets and a ferrets diet will impact on its life span, health, skin, fur, etc.
i have been talking with other ferret owners about different foods to feed ferrets and have been making a list of the different foods.
please don't be offended if the food you use isn't at the top or if theres one that you think should be lower down this is just a list of what most ferret owners think of for the different foods, please feel free to post your thoughts about the foods.
and if theres any missing
heres part of the list i have so far, its rating is from the best to the worse and some of what it has in it. the foods on the list right now are made for ferrets and no other animal.

I'd have to ask my mom exactly which foods she puts in our mix. I do know however that sheppard and greene is a BIG no-no. A lot of the ingredients are grains, which are indigestible. Our vet told us that a ferret eating only sheppard and greene wouldn't get enough nutrition to be healthy. My advice, which comes first hand from a ferret that would ONLY eat sheppard and greene food, is to feed it a healthier diet, but put a few kibble pieces on the top of the bowl. Our little girl didn't know the difference.

Our little girl didn't know the difference. yeah and the other reason it being bad for them is cause theres corn in it, Innova evo, Zupreem, and probley 8-in-1 Ultimate (8-in-1 Ultimate i havnt used so idk how good it is) are the best to use. i have the Totally ferret by the top cause its one of the only ferret foods that canada vet clinics order in that i know of

Since mine is in the top 10, does that mean that I can still give it to my ferret? o.o
