I know birth control pills work for some people but it's important to assess your symptoms to determine if you are estrogen or progesterone dominant. If you're estrogen dominant (I am) then birth control will only make things worse. The bad part is that a lot of doctors won't do the hormone level tests on young menstruating women because levels fluctuate so much within a month that they say they'd have to literally test every day and then try to determine if you are "normal" or not.
also, just to let you vegans know, i just got birth control yesterday, & they have lactose in them lol. i'm not starting until later, but the first two days of my period are excruciating, plus i have mild acne, so i hope this helps it.
i'm actually going in for surgery on monday to remove my hymen o.o it's probably TMI, but my hymen never thinned the way it was supposed to, so i've never been able to but in a tampon properly(i use pads currently), & if i had the pain & blood loss would have made me have to go to the ER.
so, yall should be thankful you don't have to medically de-flowered razz
