They wouldn't be the same. And yes, Billie Joe did consider going solo when the band mates began fighting. As to if he really did record stuff himself, dunno.
But the band mates stared doing self counseling, gathering once a week to talk about their problems and disagreements. All in all, it worked, and they then recorded American Idiot soon after.

That would be weird, and I'd kind of get pissed. I think it would never happen. Of course, if Tre hadn't been drummer then Green Day would probably not be as funny in Bullet in a Bible and many other events. Tre Cool kind of got them noticed to more public areas, and that is what made them so successful. He pretty much brought the spark to Green Day, and it makes them so different for this compared to many other bands.

Zell Omnita Did you know Billie Joe was thinking of going solo before the American Idiot Album? Well, I'm always wondering, what if he actually DID go solo. Would he og anywhere?What would happen to Mike and Tre? i would kill myself
