another topic i wanted to bring up because when i first heard this noise coming from a sleeping ferret, i thought something was wrong (you guys are probably like "gee, paranoid much? o.o; ).
ferrets SNORE. i never really thought bout that at all. i mean, a ferret snoring? seriously the thought never crossed my mind. it's normal.
enter youngest ferret Mini-Kit. he's around 2 years old and when he sleeps he makes this weird sound. i was startled when i first heard it because i had never heard it before. it almost sounded like a whimper, but not. breath in, breath out whimper sound. breath in, breath out whimper sound. i couldn't figure it out.
confused after digging around in articles, web sites and talks to the vet... it just turned out to be snoring. i was so relieved. :3
(and felt kind of stupid for not realizing it was snoring in the first place >.>;; )
