Does anybody know how many units of fertilizer are needed exactly to upgrade your crops? I managed to get a B to an S, but I'm tired of wasting fertilizer. Anybody know? And the game is A Wonderful Life: Special Edition.

Oh dear ;^^
I always wondered why my stupid crops would never go above "B" grade!! I suppose it should've been obvious that fertilizer was the answer xD
Anywho, seeing as I just discovered that fertilizer has a purpose, I need to know that same thing as you do, only for Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life GameCube Edition, haha!

Sorry, I'm not sure. I haven't played that game in quite awhile but I do remember that you shouldn't put all the fertilizer on at once and just do it once it starts to disappear or it wont affect anything.

I also have a question but this is about HM DS Cute.
I'm trying to upgrade my crops past level two but no matter how many seeds I put down over them, nothing happens. One crop I put over 100 seeds on them and it still stayed level two. Anyone know what to do, or if I'm doing anything wrong?

I believe that to upgrade a crop, using lots of fertilizer is the only way to go. However, once you get the seedmaker, the seeds from an s-rank crop produce s-rank produce without any fertilizer. I hope this helps you waste a little less.
Just note that I may be wrong as it has been a while and I never played it all too much.

I know I need a lot of fertilizer, but we wnt to know how much exactly. I think it's 20, but I could be wrong.

This is not from my own experience, so I cannot vouch for it's accuracy, but I've read a couple faqs that say it's 4 bags per level (so 8 to get one to an S-rank) and for trees it is 30 bags. Hope this helps smile

I heard it was around 5, but I could be wrong. But once you get Tartan all's you have to do is give him the crop that you want upgraded seeds for and then give him an upseed (I think thats what the flower is called). It'll boost it right up to S.

For that you use your upper grade seeds. Let's say you have normal seeds, get grade 2 crops; with those level 2 crops you make seeds and with those seeds you do the same thing you did at first. But the seed maker is a pain to get.
