Oh, right, an OoC forum... XD Actually, I've been trying to create a station on Pandora for my character, Gerald. I like to use custom music stations to get into character while I'm RPing... I based it on two Simon & Garfunkel songs, "I Am a Rock" and "The Sound of Silence", but I'm having trouble figuring out what else to add to it. Apparently, Gerald hates all the other songs I listen to, and he's trying to convince me that he likes Chopin. *facepalm* Also, seeding an internet radio station with Simon & Garfunkel brings up a disturbing amount of Peter, Paul, & Mary. *cringe*

I'm so addicted to Owl City, Fall Out Boy, Koji Kondo's soundtrack for Twilight Princess, and the song "Defying Gravity" right now.
Anyone ever hear of a band called Cranes? They're... weird. And it's like no one's ever heard of them, even though they've been around forever.

Occasionally, I listen to Fall Out Boy, but it's more like they pop up on some of my stations sometimes. *looks Cranes up on Wiki* I also have never heard of them, but they sound interesting... *pops open Pandora to have a listen* Hmm, I'll give a listen and see what they're like.
I tend to get hooked on individual songs rather than artists/albums, and lately, besides the few weeks of endless Christmas music, it's been "Hold on Hope" by Guided By Voices, "Shake 'em Down" by Miles Hunt, and "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" by Relient K. Last week, I got on a kick of 60s/70s rock for some reason... My music taste can be capricious at times.
So, I managed to catch a few Cranes songs on Pandora while I've been typing this, and they are pretty cool. More laid back than what I normally listen to (other than when I'm writing Gerald XD), but I don't think I'd mind adding them into my mix. smile
And people other than us must be interested in music. *nudges them toward the OoC*

Uh...lets see what we've got here...-pops open MP3- Well for Ella, I'm usually listening to her voice-sake, Natasha Bedingfield because the upbeat songs suit her so well, though some celtic and chanting is thrown in there to channel her Witchy side when I need it. Colin doesn't need music he's just there.. Colin: stare Lots of Paramore for Danni...A little Evanescence and a mixture of other things like The Hush Sound and Coldplay for Evy.... <.<...Funny...my males don't need songs. They're just there.
Recently, I've been listening to alot of celtic music, a few songs by Regina Spektor, Natasha Bedingfield, and alot of different things. Jimmy Eat World too. heart

Natasha Bedingfield isn't too bad... I think my favorite song from her is "Soulmate". Sometimes, I get the feeling she's trying too hard though... I think she'd sound better if she simplified some of her musical phrases. I know I've heard Regina Spektor before but darned if I can remember any specifics. I try to avoid Jimmy Eat World, but somehow, "The Middle" keeps popping up on my stations. XD
Also, since I first posted, I've added a lot of older rock to Gerald's station (think The Who, The Eagles, Kansas...). Also a bit of the Beatles and some more folk-y music. He really likes the guitar, apparently. XD

I've also found this very laid-back electronic band called Lemongrass. Kind of like lounge music, in a way. Very nice. Their song Elle et moi has some nice piano sounds and beats going.
The Pierces have this song, Secret, that's delightfully creepy.
And of course, utada hikaru always has my heart.
