The other Southern place which sadly I don't have pictures from is Branson, Missouri. I don't advise ever going there because it's incredibly boring.

But I just got back from Norfolk, Virginia which happens to be the NAVAL BASE of the United States. The Marines outfits are so cute<3

There were many stores that had adorable Lolita jewelry! Observe.

Oh my goodness!
Just this last weekend I was over in the Warsaw-ish area of Eastern Virginia where they had many amazing antique stores with pretty pretty shinies that didn't cost a whole lot. I picked up an amazing brooch with painted lilacs on the front which I plan to attatch to some lace to create a collar. surprised

Ooo very pretty. Surprisingly, there are a lot of Victorian/Lolita jewelry like this in gift shops in old southern plantations that ive visited. I bought a pink brooch necklace like that at a plantation near Baton Rouge.

I'm from Lousiana, so this really doesn't surprise me- but you hit one of the biggest jack pots! But really, finding lolita-capable finds in the Southern states shouldn't be that big of a surprise. Has no one seen Gone With the Wind?

My ancestors (sadly, plantation owners) could've been possible lolita gods. XD
