As Nessa came out of her hiding place, Kal could get a better look at her than earlier when she was trying to fend off the horrid rats. From where she was standing, she could tell that the pup had only a few scratches and bruises. Good thing nothing had happened to her, or else the older female would have gone after the dogs that ran off and killed them too. But since they weren't able to touch the little wolf, she was fine and wasn't even remotely thinking about going after them. Let them try and survive in the real world.
Smirking at this as she watched the father, her thoughts soon faded to nothing as she afterwards looked from Yero to all of the other wolves. Should she introduce herself first? At first she thought she should, but then again she realized that she was in a group full of strangers, except for Catalyst. This thought put the gray femme on guard and caused her tense visably. Would she be able to keep the threatening growl from her voice?
Hearing no other wolf speak out at this particular time, she sighed and decided that she should at least break the small silence after the father had asked who they were. Of course, it was only about half a minute..
Standing with what would have seemed to be too much ease after that fight, Kalia looked at the father, a deep respect in her eyes that hopefully covered up her tense muscles. "I am.." Should she say her full name? Eh.. for the pup. "Kalia." The word came out as if it hurt her throat to say it. She normally didn't give out her full name to strangers... but there was a pup who deserved to know who her saviors were.
"I am glad to see that your daughter is not hurt." Then she just stood there, her head held slightly high in her proud manner that she always carried herself in, the many cuts, bruises, and scratches seeming to not exist in her mind.
(( Hope you don't mind me making this RP after our AIM one, Shia. ^^; ))

He turned as Kalia emerged from the ravine as well, looking from her to the she-wolf that remained in the Ravine. Suddenly, seeing the resemblance, it all made sense. The aggressive one must be the older of the two.
"Is your sister alright?"
Kouji felt at fault for this, he'd been the one to let Nessa get this far. He really should have known better, but then again what were the odds? He'd never seen hounds in this part of the woods before. Speaking of which, hounds probably meant humans, he'd smelt a hint of two-legger on the barking-rats. They might be along soon to see where the other dogs were.
For now he just kept an ear out, looking to Yero and Nessa, trying to disquise his guilt. Nessa already knew his name, and had called it several times during the fight, but did Yero hear? He could at least introduce himself to Yero.
"Kouji,"

Winter had eventually followed the collected group outside the ravine. It was true that she still had a rather clueless sort of expression only because she /was/ confused. Confused about this whole situation, the dogs, the fighting. And still it all seemed rather unclear as to /why/ she had so willingly shown up. Heaving a sigh, the ivory she-wolf resigned to a sitting position, her tail settling besided her right side while she waited, cerulean eyes shifting to and from each of the wolves.
Finally her gaze stopped on Yero, while only triggered a rather sudden c**k of her head, finally speaking after Kalia and Kouji's introductions. "I'm Winter.. though I didn't exactly do much.. credit goes to everyone else," she stated slowly, quirking a brow. Yes-- Winter assumed that her being in the ravine was a complete waste, as she seemed to be rather stuck in the thinking that she was rather useless in any fighting situation, especially if she didn't know what on earth was going on to begin with.
She would have perhaps said more if it had not been for Kouji's comment. Wait.. sister..? Who's sister..? With an almost panicky motion, Winter's head spun around, allowing her to glance towards the female beside her. Sister.. there weren't exactly many other females around.. did Kouji actually think Kalia and Winter were.. siblings..?
"Uhm.. what..? Sister..?" She suddenly questioned, sending a sideways glance in the males direction. "She's.. no.. we're.. I don't.. uhm.." The she-wolf began, rather instantly tripping on her wording in defense. Winter? Related to Kalia..? As far as Winter knew.. well.. she didn't /have/ siblings. Why on earth would Kouji think THAT of all things? This ivory female was an only child, or at least she believed that she was. However one never could tell.. as she /was/ separated from her family as just a youngster..
Unfortunatly she began this without even taking consideration that she had been interrupting introducing themselves to Nessa's father.

Catalyst, after finding the pack of hounds dissipated and the gathering of wolves migrating from the battle grounds to another, possibly safer location, he followed regretfully. He wasn't one to just wander up to strangers, unless they were in dire need....but he was lonely as of yet, only knowing two wolves from this neck of the woods and took into account that acknowledging others may suit his fancy later on.
A colorful gaze prowled the scene for a few moments, taking in what had just happened. His heart softened slightly as the site of other fellow canines lay scattered on the now marooned earth. He sighed, though feeling the hounds deserved what came to them, he couldn't find it in him to feel proud of this deed. Even if lupines, his own species, were not at fault. His eyes flicked slightly in a blink, and then he turned, following up the muddy slope towards the others.
Catalyst watched, saying little but listening intently. His ears pricked as each name came from one wolf to another. His body ached slightly, he could visibly see minor scars aloft his hefty mass. His tail lingered towards his thigh as he shifted his weight over to find a comfortable position. He knew he'd be here a while. After hearing Kalia, Kouji, and Winter announce their names, he cleared his throat.
"My name, is Catalyst." He nodded slightly, before taking his gaze to the other's who were indeed here, but hadn't yet spoken. His eyes frantically searching for Kirra in particular; The only one he truly "knew". "And if you dont mind me asking, I'd really like to know what that was about." His head cocked slightly in a state of confusion.

It seemed the small group of combatants were moving off to a less bloody meeting point, something that the large black wolf had no problem in facilitating. As the group moved forward, Kirra took a moment to look carefully at one of the fallen hounds. She believed it to have been one that the one called 'Kalia' had fell. It's glassy eyes gazed back at her in a deathly trance, and she felt it pull at her from down in it's red pool. Snorting, she shook her head, and carefully slinked off behind the others.
She exited the ravine a few seconds after the main group had left, hearing just the end of the black wolf's speech. For a moment, she stopped dead in her tracks, watching him eerily. He looked familiar. But with the careful squint of the eyes, she deciphered that it was someone else. Still, she kept her bright yellow eyes trained on the one called 'Yero', and only once did they flicker downwards to his young daughter. She was a cute kid...not the kind Kirra would have expected to be nearly torn to pieces.
But the black and tan wolf did not waste a moment, besides her brief stare at Yero, to be spotted by the others. Quickly, she darted besides Catalyst and remained as close to him as she could without touching, keeping her eyes trained on the group. It seemed that everyone was addressing themselves, but the black wolf had asked for his daughter's rescuers. She'd hardly count herself as one, and being around the strange group was making her sufficiently nervous. Hopefully they'd consider her mute, or ignore her totally, as she peeked out from behind Catalyst.
Despite her inwardly nervous behavior, her face lay stone still, and only a slight wheezing could be heard from her. Hopefully, none could hear the slight thumper of her heart, and the way her tail writhed behind her.

Yero kept a dignified silence as the others introducing themselves, but shook his head when Winter tried to pass all the credit to the others. "No, you came too, and that's what matters." His tone was grateful, if not sobered, but then again, his daughter had almost lost her life, and it would take him a moment to phase back to his gentle, warm natured tone. When the wolves had finished, Yero turned to each of them once more, repeating their names aloud for his daughter's benefit, save for Kirra, who he referred to as 'and even another.'
"Nessa, what do you have to say to these woves?"
The pup, who had been hunched slightly at her father's side looked up with wide olive eyes. "Thank you." She said shyly. Despite the gravity of the situation, her tail began to wag. She couldn't bear it when her father reverted to his most formal of states. In hopes of livening things up a little, she padded forward to the group of wolves. She paused in front of Kalia, looking up at the gruff warrior. "Thank you, Kalia." She wuffed, and trotted herself over to Winter. "Thank you, Winter" She thanked Kouji this way as well, to whom she gave a small smile. Then she extended her gratitude to Catalyst. She was pleased to learn their names and so when she got to Kirra, she moved her head to the side in timid question. With a glance at the other's golden eyes, she muttered a sincere. "Thank you." Though it sounded oddly short in the air without a name.
Yero sat down on his feathered haunches, ready to get down to business. "Does anyone know where the hounds came from?" The presence of dogs near his family's lands bothered him greatly, though he wouldn't have to worry about this particular pack of them, they had all been dispatched save for one, who wasn't about to go after a wolf any time soon.

Sister... what... sister? Were two of the wolves here related? Looking around, the gray femme noticed that Kouji was directing the question at her, talking about the similarities between her and Winter. Glancing in the white wolf's direction, she didn't fail to notice that she looked disturbingly familliar. But there was no way they were related. All of her family had passed away.. but there was that one time..
No, they weren't related, there was no possible way that they were related at all. The other female seemed to have come to the same conclusion, and so her feeling was only reinforced. Just to add to it, though, she spoke quickly to Kouji. "We're not sisters.. I've never met her before." At least she thought she didn't.
But her attention was taken away from that little topic as Nessa went around and thanked all of her rescuers. Looking down at the little wolf, Kalia couldn't help but smile kindly. It was a much different side of her than that viscious and rough warrior that had just surfaced during the fight. She looked more like... a mother... of sorts, though a bloody and creepy one. o.O
"Don't worry about it, just make sure not to stray too far away from your family next time, okay?" They were soft words of advice, not like the normal cold spears that she normally threw at strangers. Puppies were her soft spot, and they seemed to have the abillity to change her personality in a snap.
As Nessa then moved on, she looked back towards Winter. There was something vaguely familliar in that white face of hers....
