I'm a conservative 31 year old year old who grew up during the Reagan Administration.

I live in Boston, Boston is extremely liberal and PC.

I'm a punk & former skinhead. I went against the norms of society. I hung around in bars when I was 19. I worked blue collar grunt work (still am.) I chose a lifestyle that was anti-communist, anti-fascist, anti-politically correct. I loved to argue with people, when I went back to college, I began to enjoy life using my acquired knowledge to enjoy the niche I carved out for myself, being rather rambunctious and telling people how I saw life from my point of view. Which is why I switched majors into Journalism, I'm really good at writing.

I oppose totalitarianism, which is why I oppose communism

No where in the Communist Manifesto does it say ANYWHERE that the subjects of communism have the CHOICE TO LEAVE if they don't want to take part in the great social experiment.

Of course not, skinhead is a proletariat thing, not a anti-semitic thing.

There's several flavors of skinhead. I was a Brews (a Jewish Skinhead) I've seen Pink Boys (Gay Skinheads) Trad-Skins (Proletariat Skinheads) Red-Skin (Communist Skinhead) Black, Asians, Foreign English Hooligans and other variations.

I can usually can tell the political affiliations of whatever punks or skins I see.

For example, Brewskins and Sharpies in Boston wore blue braces over white, to mimic a Talit.


Something to that effect.

Those who wore red usually meant Tradskin or redskin

Those who wore white on black were hammer skins. And those were the nazi skinheads.

colors change over regions and with time.

I stopped being a skinhead when I moved to Indiana. It took me about a day to realize that there were no Jewish Skinheads or Sharpies. Everyone there was an 88, a black bird, or a hammerskin. They were all Klan Nazis.

So I kept my head down, grew my hair out and just went to college instead.

Call it, growing up.

You do realize that Hooligans from England are Foreigners in Boston.

We also have people from New England who like to pretend they're from Old England. Put on a fake cockney accent and try to sing like Mick Jagger or Johnny Rotten.

We just call them Wankers.

What can I say... Boston Hoodlums at one time aspired to be British Hooligans.
