sHiRo_ChAn_10 Aww Heck koe kage13 `Renton With this at hand, I believe the two to be a young Renton and Eureka. No matter what angle you were to put them at, their faces have to more 'fat' to them for them to be adults. If you were to take a picture of Renton as he was at the end of the series, and pin it next to the following picture, you could see there is a large difference. That's true I guess I was only thinking height and not the other parts that would go with it. You;ve a point 'renton, however, until i see the movie, i'm not gonna basemy hopes yet, thats way it's ahrder for me to be disapointed i myself wanna see Renton and Eureka's Biolgical child, that would be a sight likewise: to your reference of the mixed-traits, this is only a usually, in a few of anime, there are offspring of main female and main male whom iether look jsut like on of their parents, but with the personality/shyness of the other or totally look different Think about Sailor Moon - Sailor Mini moon is an example of totally different then DBZ Goten is and example of the frist one, looks jsutlike Goku, but is as dense as Chi-Chi, and those, mind my words have nothing to do with nowadays anime but they are the foundation regardless so, i'll jsut sum my rant up in three words: you never know Well it would be cool to see Eureka and Renton's kids. Imagining the possibilities gives me headaches though because there are way too many options.yeah, thinkin' of the different posisbilities does make my head hurt to, but, as i said before, you never know as for the reference to changing the storyline EUREKA BETTER NOT DIE AGAIN! i was ticked off with the manga, 60 dollars wasted on crap reads the anime was far better however, yes is s true msot anime have "official rewrites" out there my only complaint is most of these are basically before or afters and not the story of the main supporting character if anything, i would love to see a stroy about only domonic & anemone as seen form their eyes like renton narrating to his sister, but instead, it's domnic speaking to his cherished one

Aww Heck EUREKA BETTER NOT DIE AGAIN! i was ticked off with the manga, 60 dollars wasted on crap reads the anime was far better I actually prefered the manga over the anime more. The ending was more balanced with the rest of the series and filled in blank spots about the coralians. I also liked how in the end Eureka was the one to save Renton, like repaying him for all he had done for her.
The anime kept building up to a darker story hidden underneath, and episode 49 sent chills down my spine when I saw Eureka explode into the new scub coral, but, episode 50 was just to happy and peaceful to be a true ending for a series ment to be so dark inside.
Eureka never died in the manga, she choose the leave with the coralians to basically 'vote' on what was to be done next. The only one who dies is Dominic^^

FIrst i'll give a Major spoiler warning to 'renton
well one, uh...is she on earth at the end? and two, she's in another universe, so earthlywsie she 'died'
to sHiRo,
Dominic isnt anywhere near a fav of mine, he is however a good supproting counterpart to Renton i nthe anime, and plus this he reminds me of my Best Friend, of whom, ironically likes anomone way too much, which contradicts me liking Eureka way too much
also, soemthing i thought about during the typing of this post
we're saying a "younger, child-like eureka" - this doesnt seem possible to me, why well... My sources told me(i didnt see the episode where it was exactly told) Eureka was found in a cave deep isndie the scub lands in her 'current' body meaning that she aged only in years
add to this when the scub felt sorry for 'forcing' humanity away, they forged Eureka as what sources say is a "peace treaty", so i can only see her having the few forms she takes in the anime, as for lifespan, well, that'd be human lifespan seeing as she was made "in human female image"

I don't think anyone who hasn't finished the series would be looking into this thread...
1. She is not on earth at the end, but that doesn't mean she is dead just because she in not on the same planet. It is also unknown if she went to another universe, it is hinted they stay in that one. We ourselfs send people off to the moon, but we do not consider them dead once they leave earth. 2. With how the manga end plays out, trapar has vanished if not a rare thing to find on the planet after the scub left. Some coralians seemed to have stayed behind, but only what was needed to keep the planet going. A small hint that Eureka and the scub comes back would be on the last few pages. It cane be seen that Linck is attempting to ride the waves, and at the last second trapar suddenly appears and he is refffing. At the same time that this is happening, Renton is holding his hand out to the sky with a smile, and someone is reaching back.
Also, you are trying to compair the series to a movie which is supposed to be an alternate storyline. The past of the characters will not be the same, but changed to an extent. For all you know Eureka and the coralians could have showed up in a different mannar because of different events with the humans. So it is possible that this is a younger Eureka, since it is an alternate story.

Linck tried to ride the ref board to see if the Corallians were really gone since they were the ones who produced trapar. and renton was reaching his hand to the sky since he knew the corallians were in a different universe untill they felt that humans were ready to co-exist with them. so the ending of the manga was sorta simillar to the anime except for the fact that renton went and became a corallian to be with Eureka in a seperate universe.

At the end, the Nirvash told them that it and the coralians would go off into a separate universe and also told the two to stay on Earth.

When Renton does try to convert to a coralian and stay with Eureka forever in the Scub, is when Nirvash spits him out of the cockpit and instead takes their place. So to me he stays human, but maybe a small bit is something else wink
