It was early in the morning, the sun hadn't even risen up on the city, only the sounds of the waves crashing against the city walls could be heard. Tanji flipped through the mission's expection's. Natalie examined the portalus ruin they were to use to get to her home country, the conflict seemed to have escalated ever since the information on the stone burners fell into enemy hands. Fiona was in the unit as well, this was there instructors exam, it was unfortunate that Jadylin-Angel had fallen comatose, her skills could have proven use full in a tight situation, but she fell comatose long before they had graduated from the student level. Fiona was keeping her cool but Tanji was nerves and that made Natalie nerves, he had tol her what he saw the last time he was there.
Tanji was about to enter the plane when he had heard a voice, he turned to see a slightly transperant girl in black and yellow clothing, she had the tattoo of a Mry symbol on the left of her forehead, the symbol for warning. "return to this land will end in blood." she warned.

ever since that sighting every mission had ended with a death one way or another in Krono's. Tanji snapped out of this thoughts and looked at everyone, "alright, its time to move out." he moved to the center of the ruins and the rest of the team followed, then a bright light overwhelmed them as they teleported to the Krono's ruin's.
They came into a dim lit cavern, several armed men were standing there, Krono's solders, Natalie smiled and ran over to a man who wasn't armed,"DAD!" she shouted wrapping her arms around him, Fiona left the chamber and Tanji stood with Natalie,"its been so long!"
"yes it has." he said ruffling her hair,"I hope you havn't been giving my son in law any trouble." he looked at Tanji.
Tanji smiled,"no sir, she hasn't." his expression changed, " lets get down to business."
"yes your right." he lead them all to a briefing room, Fiona was already there,"two hours ago we recived word that there was going to be an attempt to steal one or two of our stone burners, if this technology falls out of our hands the enemy might be able to push us out and move further into the forested regions of Mry, lucky the Koos conflict is dying down, but there will be civil unrest there for quite some time."

It had been several hours since the briefing and they had been staked out in the trees near the stone burners, Tanji had insisted they leave the stone burners undefended, to lower Kronos casualty's. The forest feel silent as several helicopters came into sight, they had rigs on them to carry the stone burners, several men jumped out of the first helicopter and began to rig the stone burner up. Fiona started to inch up but Tanji pushed her down and pointed towards the tree line opposite them, there was several enemy solders well hidden in the trees. He signaled to move once the first stone burner was loaded, several seconds later it lifted up and began to fly away, the second helicopter began to load, Tanji, Natalie and Fiona bolted out of cover towards the helicopter, Natalie was the units gunner so she focused on keeping the enemy in the treeline down. Fiona unsheathed her sword and cut down several of the men from the helicopter, Tanji only observed this, then jumped into the helicopter leaving the stone burner behind, Natalie fired off a flare for the Kronos military to move in then they began the presuit.

Gun fire was exchanged from both the helicopters when Tanji decided to leap into the enemy helicopter, bashing the crews heads together and tossing them out quickly, but that's when he hear it, a ping noise, the stone burner had been activated, he searched the surroundings for a body of water, and found one, then signaled Fiona to land and take shelter there. Tanji landed, checking the timer, "ten seconds, he better hurry." he thought he bolted for the water.

A burning pain filled their bodies and then they surfaced,"is everyone still ok?" Tanji asked, crawling out of the water. The surrounding forest had been completely destroyed," our objective is to reach that mountain pass, there should be a base there." Tanji explained pointing to a mountain pass just ahead.
