Quote:
Summer Morning
Written on July 31, 2008
It's still early morning
but the sun is shining
cause it's the beginning of summer
I wake up to see
your cute smiling face
illuminated by the warm, golden sun.
I reach out and stroke
your long, soft, flowing hair.
I get lost in your glowing beauty.
I pull back my hand
and, taking the chance,
I gently touch your irresistably pretty face.
Sleeping like that,
your curled up figure,
you look so absolutely adorable.
It's so hard to resist,
so I finally give in.
I hold your hands and my lips lightly touch yours.
I realized too late that
you were awake all along.
You pounce on top quickly and then hold me down.
Euphoric embrace and
a breathtaking kiss.
No time to react. I've no choice. I give in.
Utterly powerless,
I'm under your control.
I'm weakly squirming in ecstasy.
Things finally calm down,
but you're still laying on me.
I dreamily look at you and see true love in your eyes.

When I wrote this poem, I thought it would be an interesting style to make each stanza three lines and make each third line a bit longer than the others. I hope it flows more smoothly that way.
