It seems I had a right to fear for Maggie’s sight. I had taken her to the eye doctor earlier today. Her eyesight seems to have gotten worse. I should have known that this would happen with her appearance being so close to the nightshade plant. Then again how was I to know that she wouldn’t be ‘immune’ to her own poisoning? She seemed healthy and happy enough. For now the situation seems easily corrected with a pair of glasses though she refuses to wear them, especially Nosferatu.
He insists on teasing her and claiming it as revenge for some game they had played at earlier in the week. I do not know what happened but he seemed rather pleased about upsetting his sister and felt that it was quite justified in calling her a ‘four eyed, four armed freak’. I just hope that this doesn’t hurt her self-confidence or anything, but she should really work these things out for her own and start fighting back against her brother. At least actively.
She seems to enjoy the passive aggressive route I have noticed.
Ah well, time to get drag Desdemona off to help me with spell memorization.
