Gideon pushed open the door to the clinic, taking a quick look around the lobby before letting his brother prance ahead of him. Pointing at a chair in the waiting room, he easily directed Zavier, sliding a magazine into the skinnier boy's hands.
"Wait here."
The already tall redhead approached the woman at the desk, who was reading a similar magazine and looking board. "Excuse me, ma'am?" The flowers they'd picked up on the way were presented, already in a vase for her desk. It wasn't special treatment, it was just how Gideon and his father were. "How're you this afternoon? My brother and I are here for an appointment with Dr. Ronchas. Gideon Mathias and Zavier Gallagher-Burdock."

Selma looked up, ready to snap but paused when she saw the flowers. No one brought her anything. She softened for a moment and then took the flowers. She may have been a cold disagreeable woman but she was still a woman and somethings worked on all women, flowers were one of those things.
"Oh, I am fine, thank you. You go sit down with your brother. The doctor will be out soon enough." she asured him, glancing up with a netural look on her face.
It took a lot to get her not to frown, it was even harder to get her to smile and no little boy just being sweet could do it. But at least the kids were nice. Maybe they should get some toys for older kids...

"Thank you, ma'am." A calm smile and Gideon bid her a good day before joining his brother. The taller boy didn't choose a magazine, rather he sat quietly, nodding at Zavier's comments and letting his eyes roam around the room. It was a pretty nice establishment, though small. Not as shady as he'd have thought.

"Flowers? Man, Giddy! You and dad are so gay." Scoffed the pink-wearing skinny child, his arms crossed over his chest, his nose crinkled so much like his mother. He was quickly distracted, though, as there were magazines that involved -
Oooh! It had ballet!
"Hey! Hey, Gid! Look! It has ballet dancers! Look, they have tights and they sparkle! Hey, GIDDY! Look! You aren't looking." He tapered off into a mild whine, twisting to drape over him, the magazine being shoved into his hands. "We should get tights.
"Hey, why are we here again?"

Brow creasing, Gideon frown disapprovingly at his brother's statement, "Don't say that kind of stuff, Zavier." before going back to scanning the room and not looking at the magazine. That is, until his scrawny brother draped across him. Accepting the magazine, Gideon took one look at the men and women in their tights and raised an eyebrow.
"No, thank you. I'm sure dad will buy them for you, though." A pause and he put the magazine back on the low coffee table, glowering at his younger brother.
"I like flowers." There was nothing wrong with that. Glancing toward the receptionist's desk, he shrugged slightly. "Shots, or something. A meeting with our doctor, I guess."

"WHaaaaat? There isn't anything wrong with being gay. Jemmie is gay!" Zavier protested, as Nozomi assumes they know their mothers body guard. "So is that guy from Mums art class. He's big like Daddy but he's always bringin' her things before talking about how much he loves his boyfriend and adores their dog..." Zavier waved his hand with a little flip and slipped back into his own chair.
He was fidgeting a little, eyes darting this way and that. Zav felt like singing - so he started to hum, body rocking to the right, then the left, in his impatiantness.
"Shots? Mum already took us here for shots when we were younger. ... I'm hungry, Giddy."
The dark haired boy bounced from his seat and started walking around the room idly.
"Shouldn't there be more people here? This is a place for babies. Where are the babies?"

"I know that, but you were being insulting, Zavi. Don't pretend like you weren't. You know that's what I meant." Gideon frowned slightly again, shaking his head. "Sit back down, okay? The receptionist said the doctor'll be out soon, then we can go. Dad gave me some money for food, so I'll buy you something afterwards, okay?"
As for the lack of babies... "I don't know. Mom said there wasn't anyone here when she came, either. Maybe they schedule it that way."

Ronchas recived a notice from Selma, who was touched enough by the flowers to help the boys. He noted over the e-mail with some interest as he pulled off the very icky gloves. Things were going well, very well. He was getting some kids now and it was time for his first private interveiw. He got up and grabbed some paperwork he'd want to send home with the kids, the most important ones being school enrollment forms for the school he had set up just for his kids.
Ronchas took good care of his children.
After a quick change of a shirt Ronchas headed down the hallway. He hummed to himself a little tuneless noise as he walked with a jery stride that was full of both confidence and insanity. If you saw someone humming and walking like him in the street you'd keep your children far away from him.
And he was about to have his first private meeting. Good, good. That made him happy, very happy.
"Children! Children" he boomed out when he arrived in the waitting room. "Good to see you, please, please, come with me to my office." he invited, quickly rushing the boys to his private office.

Zav was about to retort when some weird dude busted in. What in the hey diddle diddle? He jolted a bit from where he stood, large eyes blinking quickly at the sight of the booming man.
"Ah - wait - wha-- Giddy?" Zav asked helplessly as the doctor ushered them on, his legs used to quick pace; he tittered along like a fast-footed little bird. "Is this the part where I say 'we need an adult' - you're the doctor, right?"
Right?!
Right.
Giddy wouldn't let it be anything but the doctor.

Gideon was on his feet in seconds and quickly secured Zavier's wrist, his black eyes wary as the scanned the doctor. Yes, that was Ronchas. A little strange, but nice, it seemed. Nodding slowly, he kept hold of his brother, following the man into his private office.
"It's alright Zavier, I believe this is Dr. Ronchas." Smiling slightly at the man, he held out a hand in greeting. "I'm Gideon."

Zavier's fears were not unfounded. The gleam in Ronchas's eyes weren't entirely kindness and made normal people feel a bit uncomfortable but he wouldn't hurt them. Not at all, these were HIS kids and Ronchas had many plans for them...many plans.
"Wonderful to meet you, wonderful to meet you." he beamed, taking his hand and giving it one hard shake, using it to drag both boys into his office when he closed the door.
"Ah, look how much you grown, you grown. Very nice." Ronchas mummbled, turning to pull out his file. Oh yes, he needed his file.

Zav oomphed a little as they were dragged and, once in the room, twisted his hand so he could grab at Gideons as well. He was leaning into his larger brother, slight frame scooting back behind him, just slightly.
"Mum calls us weeds."
Callee said a lot of things, but very few were said out of anything but affection. 'Weeds' was one of those endearment terms.
