Stephanie Meyer stated that "When someone becomes a vampire, it’s as if they are frozen exactly as they are in that moment. His or her (and we’ll go with her because it’s more central to this discussion) body no longer experiences change."
Which got me thinking... If someone is frozen exactly as they are in the moment they are changed, then how do all vampires end up perfect? If I recall correctly, Bella had broken bones, not to mention her skin would have been stretched because of her pregnancy. And, it just so happens she was immediately bit after "giving birth" (if you can even call it that.) Wouldn't she have been frozen exactly as she was at that moment, or does the venom magically repair your flaws? I realize becoming a vampire does change you in the aspect of improving your looks, but considering when you're a vampire you can no longer gain/loose weight, wouldn't she have been in that "post-birth" body stage forever?

That would be in a realistic sense. But since no one dies and continues to move, speak, think in real life.. for the sake of fantasy lets say this:
The venom has rebuilding characteristics, meaning when the person dies and goes into vamp shock.. the body transforms to it's ideal state. All muscles, nerves, senses, bones- everything is restructured to match the anatomical epitome of the individual. [I'm not sure everything i just said is grammatically correct. but anyways]
In other words: Kind of, the venom scientifically repairs your flaws. And when you're a vampire you CAN lose weight if you don't feed yourself. lol

actually i think i remember reading this over in the lexicon when someone mentioned pregnancy. what happens to a pregnant girl when she is changed and becomes a vampire?
when you become a vampire it's like all your organs have just frozen in time. they dont change. so you dont get fatter, your hair doesnt grow (the follicles are too hard to cut now), your nails dont grow..your body cant develop a fetus and you cant get pregnant.
point being thus, if you were pregnant when you were changed...honey you're stuck like that for the rest of eternity. the end and yeah it suckkkks (good thing bella had her baby and it had already torn out of her) bella healed what the baby tore out of so edwards venom took care of the damage it found. the venom will take care of scars, tear in tissue..such as reneesme's bite and that gaping hole in bella's stomach.

It's SMeyer. Nothing has to make sense. It's MAGIC, lol.
And since Bella's perfect, of course she doesn't have any post-pregnancy body fat.

The whole time I was so excited b/c Bella was going to get turned after the baby, and everyone knows people are a mess after giving birth in usual cases. Which is why I facefaulted when Stephenie used the venom as an excuse as to why Bella is perfect.
Not to mention how underweight she was, all the loose extra skin she'd have from it, and if vampire hair is too hard to cut, then how the hell is she supposed to shave her legs?!

I love the books, I do, especially the last one. It's a really good read.
I just couldn't stand it that Bella didn't look like she'd just given birth because the "Venom" could magically make her fixed.
Just those pregos out there have to deal with it, I suppose.
