I REALLY love middle eastern culture, the countries i am most interested in are Pakistan and India, but love it as a whole.
I wish America had more Middle Eastern restaurants, but that type of food isn't in big demand here, i did eat a lot of it when i visited my fiancee in the UK.
I'll lurk here when people start to post, im very eager to learn ninja

I love Middle Eastern culture. I've always been interested in it. In fact, I find it very exotic and beautiful.

In Los Angeles, we have a good number of Middle Eastern restaurants (and people who can cook it.) Very tasty.... blaugh You should come over here, we also have a bunch of Indian places. I know people from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, India, and I used to know this one kid who was half Saudi Arabian.

There are enough influences from the Middle East there for them to be considered in a larger definition as a Middle Eastern country. India however, can't.

Although Pakistan has been greatly influenced by the Middle East, i think there is way to much influence from india, or formerly being a part of india, for it to be considered middle eastern. I mean the cuisine is very similar to india's and even at weddings they do indian style mehndi instead of arab style (trust me there is a big difference). those are just very small examples but i believe, overall, they have too many cultural ties to india to be considered middle eastern.

The key word in what I wrote was "can". Perhaps I should I have written "could" instead or italicized "can".
