Adams history

What’s the idea?

To create Adams history with the help of everyone. How did Adam become how he is, it’s all up to you, it’s all in your hands. This will be a fast-paced RP for everyone except me, everyone is allowed to jump in at random, create mayhem and then vanish. Think up ideas, scenarios, everything and play it out. Let’s create a part of the history of Adam Bogard.
If this is a success, perhaps more chapters will come.

What part of his history?

The part of his arena fights, an arena that has been used as training grounds by his family for generations. James, his brother, has just finished his title fight and been ranked first. This means his training is complete and he has become a wealthy man. Wealthy you ask? Yes, this is an arena for prize fighting, aired on the internet it gains profit from fights, these profits are then handed out to the winners. There are 50 levels of fights, your first fight determines your starting level, this will always be somewhere at the first 25 levels. As soon as you reach level 26, the prizes increase considerably, from the normal rate of 100 dollars, you now get 1.000 to 2.000 dollars per won fight. This prize money keeps increasing and increasing until at long last, the last 10 levels it shoots up to the millions. Yes, this is prize fighting at the highest level.
Wondering how you advance trough the levels? Well, simple, the first 25 levels you fight against a fighter that ranks higher, you gain his rank if you win, while he would be getting ‘easy’ cash.
After those levels, you reach the last levels, at level 26 you need to beat five other people on the same level to advance, this amount decreases as you reach higher levels.

So, who the hell is Adam?

Well, Adam is my roleplay character. You can find all of his information so far right here.

Where is this place? And what else is there to know?

Well, the arena itself is a little city, big enough to house every fighter, against proper pay. Outside of the arena there is the rest of the city, shops that sell weapons, armour and doctors that patch you right up. Everything costs something in Granium, that’s right, the entire area is called Granium. You can of course find housing outside of the arena as well, taverns, inns and hotels, they are more expensive, the arena housing is nothing more then a single room 5x5 metre with everything stuffed inside. The death are dragged to the wasteland where they are burned, unless family picks them up and is able to afford the death body, yes, that also costs money.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention this, I have a map and that normal laws don't count in Granium.

When can we start?

Right after I have an intro post for Adam and when I give the go.

I don't have any idea as to what kind of character I should play.

Look no further, I gathered some pictures from deviantart.
Just click

Are you saying that every fight we do with Adam, we have to lose?

Heck no, in fact, his first fight will be a lose, the fights after that most likely also losses. Then he would win some, lose some, whatever I or you feel like.
Besides those fights, I also want to stage fights where he gets beaten up roughly and just wins because of his guts and perseverance. Some other fights he would lose because of some fluke accident, s**t happens.
Then there is also perhaps a rival, if anybody wished to play one, a rival he might or might not beat.
So don't worry, there is plenty of Adam to go around smile You can even play a lover if you want to, I don't care :XP

Adam looked at his father before heading towards the garage, he had been ordered to bring his own car up to the front door. He sighed as he made his way trough the mansion towards the garage. When he arrived he opened the car with remote control, the door popped open when Adam got close and he stepped in. A pressure sensor checked the body-mass, the door closed, a small camera in the dashboard checked his facial features and then the engine started. He did love modern technology, Adam stepped on the gas pedal and roared out of the garage. He had gotten this car when he received his driving licence, never had an accident since and at this point he could speed across the highway at 200km/h and browse his music collection. Well, as a figure of speech, nobody could hope to accomplish such skills.

His father was waiting in front of the front door, his blindfolded butler stood next to him as always. When he heard Adams car in the distance he made small nod towards the butler who took a bow and left. His father didn’t say a word as Adam stopped in front of him and opened the door. He just stepped in and waited for Adam to leave. Adam looked at his father for a moment, “hello father,” he then took of, filling the air with the smell of burned rubber. His father grinned, “Adam,” he nodded. So that was pretty much the relationship with his father, cold and distant, so it had surprised Adam that his father had wanted to take a drive, a drive to where?

As Adam drove up the highway his father finally spoke up, “take the fifth exit. Head straight and drive in to the first dead end lane you see. Oh, don’t dare to stop for anything, you know how I hate to wait.” Adam rolled his eyes, he hadn’t planned on stopping at all, he had planned on heading straight as fast as he could, but if he did that, it could just as well be that he missed an exit, so the fastest he drove was 170km/h.

He came to a shrieking halt when he arrived at the end of the dead-end street. Adam looked at his father, “now what? All that’s there is desert road with no real direction.” His father shook his head, drive straight trough and step on it. We need to be on time.” Adam turned the car and drove in to the desert, “On time? On time for what?”
“You will see when we get there, now drive.”
Adam shrugged, “alright, alright, whatever you want.”

Trailing at 250 for a good half hour and Adam couldn’t see any sign of civilization behind him, at the same time he could see a small black dot at the horizon, he figured that would be the destination so he stepped it down some more, pushing the car at it’s maximum of 290km/h. The speed that they were travelling with would invite accidents, even the smallest rock but there was Adam’s dad, the man was born as a pure, pure Bogard, which meant he had the total control over space manipulation, instead of a power in his hand, it rested in his entire body so any rock big enough just got swallowed up. The man had been doing this the entire time and still he looked as relaxed as when he got in the car which said enough about him, perfect control and stamina.

Then they had suddenly arrived, at first glance it seemed… like a dumb. Adam had slowed down and was now at a standstill in front of the first house, his father looked at him, “Granium, a city of cash and fighting. I’ll explain along the way. Now head to that large building in the centre. I can’t use the power here without troubles.” Adam nodded and listened carefully as his father explained what Granium exactly was and how his family had always made it it’s training grounds.

They stopped at the arena and Adam looked up in awe, “so this is where James is?” His father nodded and got out of the car, “get some summon to guard the car, make sure it’s 5 stars.” Adam grinned, “no need, it already has one. Arkaid has been tied down to it. When the cars get stolen he dies, that’s the simple deal. Otherwise he is free to roam the world so…” Adam tapped the car and let some magic run trough it. Arkaid appeared before them and made a bow to Adam, “Master?”
“The usual Arkaid, I don’t know for how long, but it won’t be longer then a day.”
Arkaid bowed again and sunk in to the car, ready to protect it with his life. Adam’s father grinned, “smart boy, giving something while taking something. Not the way I would have done it, but it works. So fair enough, let’s go.”

The fight had been brilliant, James had won the title fight as if he was stepping on ants yet his expression had not changed when he looked at his father standing next to Adam. James made a bow towards him and exited the arena under loud cheers. His money would be wired to his account. All three of them met up outside at Adam’s car, which only had two seats. Adam raised an eyebrow out of suspicion, “how do you plan on stuffing three people in my car dad?”
His father smiled, “not at all, you will be staying here to win the title fight, starting at the bottom.” Adam jaw dropped and his eyes went wide open, “what the…” Suddenly his father had cleared the coat he was wearing and it got replaced with a new one. Adam was far too stunned to react, meanwhile his brother was already sitting in his car. His dad smiled at Adam, “Before I forget, the first 25 levels, you may not use magic. You will make sure you get ranked at level 1 and will spend 2 years here. I don’t care when you start fighting but I would suggest you start soon, you now only have 1000 bucks left on your bank account. That should about cover it, your first day.
So I’ll be picking you up in 2 years, have fun son.” He father tipped his head and his brother leaned out of the window, “mind taking Arkaid off of sentinel duty? I would hate to have to deal with him.” Adam tapped the cars exterior, releasing the spell and cursing himself for ever setting up the sensors so that his brother could also drive it. He felt in his pockets and of course the keys were already in the car, his father’s doing.

Then they were off, Adam was left standing there alone with a coat that looked exactly like his own yet felt strangely warm. He still couldn’t move an inch, surprise was all over his face.
