Hello everyone ^_^ I just wanted to tell you those that were worried about mr or anything that myself and my family is ok the hurricane only did some minior damage. I hope and pray anyone else on the path of Hurrican Rita is alright, also for discusion

-Do you think gas prices will become worse in the next weeks (CNN and NBC think that $3 gas will be the good old days and we are looking at $4 to $5 within the next week)
-Has anyone been through a storm or a hurricane before? have any storys about it?
-How do you think this Hurricane will effect America?

I'm glad you and your family are alright, and even though there was damage... at least it was minor... right?
I do think because of everyone going into a frenzy the way they did, buying all that gas they probably might not end up using...(unless of course they were trying to get gas to escape the path of Rita) that gas prices will end up around $4-$5.
Hopefully it won't...... but sadly we should all prepare for it, and buy some nice walking shoes....and a bus pass.
I have never been through a hurricane, but because I reside in Texas....in the Tornado Alley area...... I have been through two tornados.
One I don't remember too well because I was only three..... I just remember sitting in the bathroom with a mattress over my head.... and the other hit a school and neighborhood.... almost hit our house....
I think that this Hurricane is going to harm us.... we are already needing funds for the war in Iraq...... and how are we supposed to rebuild New Orleans (Which I don't support because it's bound to ht by a hurricane again....fix the storm wall etc. before you try and rebuild anything) and other hurricane devastated areas?
Wow...that turned out longer than expected. eek

Cool hello there fellow Texan! ^_^

Well I tend to look at news webpages a lot sometimes just to make fun of the doomsayers. Though I do agree that the Hurricane is going to harm us, but from what I Have seen the damage isn't as bad as I thought it might be.

I am glad that the tornado's you have seen haven't harmed you! ^_^ I have been threw one myself however it wasn't too bad.
