Instead of it being infectious, it simply made him blush in an indignant way.
"Yeah... well..." he tried, before she walked off into her little corner.

Moony of course saw his friend's reaction to the lovely Miranda, smirking and nudging him once they were both out of eyesight.

"Girls," Bobby muttered, burying himself deeper into the ratty old couch. "Save their life and they go all hero on you." Which made no sense at all, but Bobby rarely did with his mind so preoccupied.

"...and if that damn bird don't shut it every time someone comes in 'ere, we're gonna have a regular feast!" Bobby slammed his pack of stolen goods on the couch, a thud which was soon followed by his own body clunking into the cushions.

"C'mon, he ain't that bad... just don't like being cooped up in here." Moony looked over to the corner, wondering if their lovely Miranda was feeling the same way. He had tried to get Bobby off of the idea of protecting her, thinking she'd fly the coop anyhow, but there was no getting him out of his somewhat valiant state of mind.

Bobby could vaguely hear giggling coming out from behind that curtain. His ears perked right up, a humorous sight from behind the couch where they were the only visible part of him.

"You ladies ready for food?" he called out, hauling his torso up over the back of the frame.

"Eh, we got enough for everybody. Bobtail always knows how to satisfy the ladies when they're hungry." He stood up with a grin, back to them both and stretched.

As Bobby ruffled his hair in a nonchalant fashion, Moony stood gaping at his comment, looking from the two females to his best friend.
"What he means is..." he began, though was drowned out by a short laugh. Bobby was wearing a wicked smirk despite the situation.

"You're right, Moons, I shoulda included you in there, too."

Bobby wheeled around to face the perpetrator, who obviously was missing a shoe.
"You little..." he began, grabbing her shoe off the couch. His smirk was even more evil than before. With shoe in hand, Bobby jumped over the back of the couch and sauntered to Miranda. Being Cule, Bobby was well over six feet tall and so had a bit of power on his side as he took her waist, flipping her right off her feet.

"Looks like someone can't behave themselves." With Miranda under his arm like a sack or parcel and her boot in his other hand, Bobby turned to Moony.
"To the dining hall?" he asked, like the situation was perfectly normal. By dining hall, he meant a small room towards the front of the complex where a stove and small kitchen set up lay.

"Bobby! Let her down!" Moony took two steps forward before stopping, helpless. "Ya can't just... c'mon!"

But Bobby just laughed a bit maniacally at his friend's pleading.
"What? She obviously can't keep her shoes on, so I doubt she can find her own way to the right room. Some girls are silly like that in the presence of such upstandin' young men like ourselves."

Bobby listened in with keen interest to her little outburst, nodding and marveling at all the right times.
"Two-faced? I always thought I only got one!"
He turned to the door, swinging her boot around in a playful manner. This was all too much fun for the street-wise Cule.
"I never knew your aunt, but if beauty runs in the family, I'm sure she was wonderful. Her bnargin, too."

Moony watched as Bobby walked nonchalantly down the hall with the swearing Miranda still under his arm. He swore he could even hear him whistling a tune on the way.
"Uh...." he said, looking to Nessa. "Think we... better follow 'em." He placed his hand on her back to gently usher her out of the room, even chancing to let it slip to her hip as they walked out.
