Joint RP - Andrei and Ridley
Andrei and Ridley
Ridley
Lashes fluttered gracefully like Monarchs as he tapped at the handle with newly-manicured and lotion-fed fingertips. Mere moments, taken for contemplation, whilst he wondered whether or not this hiding place would really be worth his effort. He grasped at the plastic thoughtfully, small hands pulling the thing open with surprising force. A quirk of his brow upon the unveiling of several different foods and beverages, his archaic wings flicking behind him disappointedly. How unfortunate.Where, precisely, was he going to hide now?
The feeling of unwelcome frustration settled within the falcon's gut upon the biting of his own lip, whereupon came the sweet taste of copper. Ridley wrinkled his nose, toes tapping with impatience as he stripped every item he could see out of the fridge, placing it ever-so-thoughtlessly upon the kitchen floor. Next came the shelfing - which was tended to in the same rude manner as the other contents of the refrigerator. A nervous inspection of his surroundings as he situated himself comfortably in the space he had created, closing the door before him.
And then came the realization that everything upon the floor was far more than a decent hint for Baasima. Whereupon he reasoned that Baasima wouldn't ever really play hide-and-go-seek, and that the feline's intentions had more than likely been to have some peace and quiet - and get rid of him for about an hour.
He sulked momentarily upon the discovery before kicking the fridge open again and clawing his way out of it. How malicious Baasima was, Ridley decided in pure disgruntlement, whilst he bent over to grab and return the contents that he had taken.
Andrei
Andrei had earlier seated himself in the main area of he sactuary earlier in the evening. He'd done the usual scoping of he place before he settled down with a bottle of his good old freind, Whiskey. He wasnt sloshed but it relaxed him enough to the point of a nap.
Unconciously his ears perked as he heard sounds from the kitchen, odd... sounds... Like stuff... "Ugh..." Tail flicking he found himself draped over the couch arm dangling over the side with the bottle still in his grasp. Forcing his eyes open he tried to find the sound in case it wasnt in the kitchen, but found that it did and from this view point, as he sat up...--
"Oh ~" Tail flicking lightly he leaned to get a better look of the rear sticking ou from he fridge. He couldnt help the lazy smirk that crossed his features, but he did find it was enough motivation to get his own lazy butt of the couch.
Giving a light purr the lion sort of... swaggered towards the kitchen, his steps were light though and the swagger wasnt from the drink but just his own laziness. Taking care as to be quiet, he ended up doing more sneaking than he had expected himself too, he kept moving to see if he had been in fact right.
Grinning when he got close enough he let his fingers simply ghost the falcons rear before putting his whole hand on it. Leaning to the others ear he smirked, "I just loooove your a** Ridley ~ <3" Though he only lingered a moment to enjoy the feel before moving so he didnt get smacked as he was sure the oher would have some kind of reflex.

Ridley
Ears picked up the faintest sound of staggering - but the falcon chose to ignore it whilst he collected the shelves into a pile. Though upon the sudden contact he whirled himself around, eyes wide as plates. A moments time before he noted precisely who it was, his terrified expression softening a tint as he moved slender fingers to brush off his own rear cautiously. "Andrei..." Ridley murmured, his tone thoughtful. "I didn't know that you were - how long have you..." He gulped the sudden lump in his throat, eyes shimmering with excitement though weariness with the sudden appearance: "You." A frown tugged at glittering lips mercilessly before he gently clasped one of the lion's hands between two of his own, "It's wonderful to see you! My gawsh! I mean - it's been ages, hasn't it?" His face brightened suddenly as he stroked at the palm he had grabbed, his wings flicking in vigorous glee.
"This is so perfect! I was so lonely! I thought I was playing hide-and-go-seek, but I guess I wasn't - but I'm happy I thought I was because now you're here! And... whoah, imagine if I hadn't been - and..." Rambling had become a regularity for him - though admittedly it was a shame that he didn't choose his words more delicately. Gray orbs met with blue depths whilst he continued the delicate gesture of stroking the other male's hand within his own two.
"I missed you!" He reasoned mere moments earlier that such a vocalization was understandable enough. It had been a long time - and he did miss the lion.
Heaven know why.
He brought his chin childishly to the hand he had been tending to, smile remaining still as he watched the feline - now wordlessly.

Andrei
The lions tail swished as he just stood watching the falcon. He gave a mock bow, watching the bottle in hand, at the mention of his name from the other, his smirk pretty much plastered to his face. Straightening once again he watched all the emotions play across the others face, and he couldnt help but be a bit surprised at the eager welcome he received from the other when he'd finally sorted out his mind.
Glancing when his hand was grasped, his smirk formed into more of a smile as his ears flicked forward to listen to the rambling, which he didnt much mind. He chuckled at the idea of the fridge being ones hiding spot; who would've thunk?
Again, he was caught off gaurd mentally at the final declaration of being missed. I felt... warming for some reason which was perplexing and made him reevaluate the situation in which he was in with Ridley.
It all took place quickly and none of it really showed on his face as the other finally stopped and he realized that Ridley was waching him. He... had actaully missed the falcon. Something about him...
Gently caressing the others offered chin he smirked again and canted his head to the side lightly. His fingers snuck up the others chin to the jaw, then finally around to the back of the others head where he used the position to step closer himself and also move Ridley closer.
The temptation was killer as he had moved his lips to linger a moment over the other as he continued to make desicions in his mind, causing him to be silent a moment, looking into the others gray orbs before...---
"I missed you too, you pretty birdie ~" He moved his lips and placed a lingering kiss on the others forehead with a grin. He may have wrapped his other arm around but it was actually preoccuppied with the bottle.

Ridley
Eyes that he was peering into twinkled momentarily before the back of his skull was touched, whereupon Ridley panicked slightly. Mere seconds before he accepted the tender gesture, his lips curving upward delicately. Small and trembling hands made their way to rest on the feline's waist comfortably whilst lips lingered momentarily at his brow. A curious look as he caressed Andrei's sides gently, his lips pursed with uncertainty. And then came something he hadn't quite expected: 'I missed you too, you pretty birdie~' The kiss was pecked, ever so feathery, upon his forehead - and Ridley moved one hand immediately to the seme's neck, whereupon he stroked at it thankfully. "Did you?" He inquired, his voice soft whilst the smile remained, still.
And those words had come as a surprise.
And it was a nice surprise. Like a birthday party - or a baby shower.
And the kiss was equally satisfying. He tapped a finger thoughtfully at Andrei's chin, batting his lashes quietly. "Bet'cha I missed you more, Andrei." He whispered, voice a mere droplet in comparison to the refrigerator's constant humming beside them. He cared little for the food and glass sprawled about the kitchen floor. What he cared about was the lion's current gentleness - something that he hadn't seen much too often in their past encounters.
"Thank you, thank you. You definitely make me happy, Mister. But... that bottle..." He frowned at it. And upon witnessing the contents, a realization hit him quietly: "Don't you think you could put it down, Drei-Drei?" He requested, hands grasping at the other's shirt tenderly, "No one has the right to judge you - and I'm certainly not - I-I never would... but I want all of you."

Andrei
Andrei's ears perked a bit as he gave a small smile giving a lazy purr at the stroking of his neck, once again looking into the others orbs finding them intriguing. "I did..."
His tail waved behind him as he watched silently and smirked as his chin was tapped and the seemingly coy reply of being missed more. It was a bit of a unsual and different position than he was normally in since he wasnt normally this consciencious nor gentle. It wasnt a rough manner he normally handled things just a bit more... crude to say.
Tail waving lazily he searched the others gaze as the bottle was mentioned, though he was even more amused by the nickname that seemed to have clung onto him. 'Drei-Dei'. Haha ~
Again the lion was brought to by the falcons movements and words, unable to resist lowering himself a little at the grasping of his shirt. He still had a fairly good hold on the back of the others head, completely gentle, but totally domineering, true to his seme nature. Using the grasp he had he made the others face tilt right up towards him, his smirk once again returning.
Moving the bottle to view he glanced at it then at Ridley. This was an interesting step... Moving a step towards the other, closing the space, he actually moved Ridley against the fridge, though avoided possible disasters. Reaching around with the arm that had the bottle, he set the bottle on the counter though didnt release it yet while watching the falcon.
"You can have all of me, but my dear pretty ~ What might I get from you?" His lips once again lingered dangerously close to the others, finally releasing the bottle he trailed his fingers lightly up the others spine.

Ridley
Panic seeped mercilessly into his arteries upon the realization that Andrei was so close. The temptation to take a step backwards did him little good - because there was that humming fridge. He had left it open, however - there was the possibility of backing up into that. But then he would, without a doubt, be cornered. He bit his lip thoughtlessly whence he noted the closeness of Andrei's lingering own - his entire body trembling suddenly with the creeping of fingers upon his back. Gray orbs flicked worriedly towards the bottle, newly-placed on the table's surface - whereupon he blamed the thing for his current and uncomfortable position. Newly-spoken words replayed themselves in his head constantly: 'What might I get from you?' - why, that depended entirely upon what it was that Andrei wanted.
Tit for tat?
An eye for an eye?
But did that apply here, Ridley wondered, his fingers curling with uncertainty. He opened his mouth to reply, a sudden spicy taste residing within it whilst he prepared his response. But nothing came. He frowned, his voice suddenly lost as he finally removed hands from Andrei's shirt, "You can have..." The falcon began, his voice somewhat shaky as he tried to understand where he had gone wrong in his earlier words. What had made Andrei do this so suddenly? A downward tug of the lips remained still with his indecisiveness: "All of m-" He leaned backwards, eyes suddenly wide when he noticed that he was off-balance.
He landed unceremoniously on his rear - back and shoulders speedily sore. Ridley blinked curiously, inspecting his surroundings again. A huff before he decided, quite readily, that the refrigerator had it out for him.
"Eeee..." He finished lamely, eyes watering some as he moved a gentle hand to rub quietly at his own thigh. "Andrei, I hurt my booty." The falcon whimpered childishly, his attention flicking towards the seme again.

Andrei
Andrei kept his body close to the others curious about how the other would react, oh how fun ukes could be. He smirked inwardly as his ears perked a bit finalyl hearing a sound out of the other. Canting his head a bit to catch the sounds he found himself urging the falcon on mentally. 'Almost...Have what...?'
He had barely enough time to react when he noticed the other letting go then starting to fall. He reached out to catch him but was a smidge to late missing Ridley completely. Standing straight again he looked at the semi-pitiful bird, and smirk couldnt help but p***k at the corner of his mouth.
Putting a hand on his hip he had to clear his throat so as to muffle a snicker, using that as a small disguise of the sound, but his features said otherwise, as he looked down. Tail flicking behind him he watched a grin spreading across his face, though he looked a bit odd trying to hide that so he just let it go.
At the others complaint he gave an attempt at a small frown. "Aw ~ It was a such a cute one too ~ Would you like me to kiss it better? My kisses work wonders ~ " He leaned down, with a small wink, offering a hand to help the other out of the fridge.

Ridley
He watched Andrei comfortably through his lashes as the lion failed miserably to hide his amusement. The falcon frowned, grasping frantically at the material beneath him. He wanted so desperately to shut the door in front of him, his face flushed with a delicate shade of pink as the hand was offered. Ridley blinked gray and innocent orbs towards the slender fingers, his attention moving upward towards Andrei's features thankfully. "I..." He murmured, his tone soft: "I really..." The small male hiccuped quietly, manicured fingers grasping tenderly at Andrei's, "Really missed yooou...." He finished lamely and childishly whilst he used the lion's strong and lengthy arm to pull himself upwards. Eyes were narrowed with what appeared to be sleepiness as he quietly brushed at Andrei's shirt. "I missed you so, so much and I-"
He huffed and muffled a small snicker.
"And you..." He moved his other hand to stroke gently at the feline's cheek, his smile soft and his fingers lingering at Andrei's lips momentarily, "You tried to catch me, didn't you...?" His eyes were downcast with mortification as he recalled the embarrassing stunt; though admittedly, had he forgotten it by now his memory would certainly be ridiculous. He got on his tippy toes, shimmering lips pressing affectionately against the other's as he leaned against the larger male sweetly.
But Ridley was always ridiculous.
And melodramatic.
Like now, for example.

Andrei
Aw, the falcon had a cute blush. At this point Andrei wasn't trying to hide his amusement anymore, having given up all hope at being able too. He was unable to even stifle the ever growing smirk as the other squirmed a bit where he had landed, so he gave a small soothing purr when the other took his hand.
Though he canted his head he listened quietly at what was being said. mentally he analyzed the soft touch, thinking about how the other was such a gentle being but he was oh-so-much-fun. His ears perked once again at the confession, but smiled none the less, free hand going up to gently brush back a stray hair from the others face.
Blinking at the huff, his tail waved behind him lazily, this day was turning out far more interesting than he had intended. Smirking at the knowledge of him trying to catch him, he nibbled lightly at the fingers on his lips, "Of course. But you seem to be a bit... slippery. That or just far too quick for me."
The lion purred comfortingly, only mild shock going through him when he received the kiss. Wrapping his arm around the others obviously smaller waist, he pulled him ever closer, settling as he returned the kiss, keeping it light for the moment. Now, this is what he'd been waiting for...

Ridley
Achromatic eyes widened, alarmed, as the arm was slung around his waist - whereupon the gentle kiss that the falcon had offered was returned. He grinned into Andrei's lips sincerely, his tongue flicking - uncomfortable - behind his own incisors. Hands, having been newly rested on the lion's stomach, ventured their way upward. They stopped upon reaching the shoulders. Ridley massaged the area momentarily, his heart racing as he hesitantly pulled his face away from the feline's. The kiss was nothing more than mere gratitude, the falcon reasoned as he slid his hands downward again. He stopped all movement when his slender fingers lay on the other male's waist. "Slippery, hmm...? He recalled, innocent orbs flicking up to view the other thoughtfully. A hand rubbed childishly at Andrei's side whilst the uke brought his second to touch tenderly at an ear.
What had happened to it, he was curious.
Having reasoned that inquiring something so personal was rude, however, the bird decided to move his attention onto sapphire tresses, instead. He ran lotion-fed fingertips through the dark hair, lips pursing idly as he wondered what really had happened to Andrei.
But that was none of his business.
Upon this realization, he discontinued the stroking of the other's skull - his eyes narrowed tiredly with uncertainty. He was just a moment, just an uke - and he knew that. He knew he was just something to pass the time - and that Andrei was much older and more mature than himself; he knew that he wasn't anything more than a touchy, young, innocent and feminine male. But mostly, he knew that the lion didn't really want anything to do with him.
And what he knew upset Ridley.
He ran his head into the other male's torso tenderly, hiding his features so that the gritting of his teeth would not be noticeable. It did hurt, he decided. But then - everyone hurt. He knew Indumauli hurt... that Nzame hurt - that Baasima hurt, that even Gwynn hurt. And he was sure Andrei did, too. And they all dealt with it rather splendidly. Obviously he would live - tomorrow was merely a day away. Keeping his head up couldn't be that hard.
Says the falcon with his head down and pushing against the lion. Stupid Ridley. "I should probably put the fridge back together before everything goes bad..." He murmured towards the ground, though it was truly directed at Andrei. "Right, right~?"

Andrei
Andrei kept a quite purr going as the kissed smiling back. Before they parted, he flicked his tongue out lightly tracing the others lips before looking down at him curiously. He was thoroughly enjoying the falcons touch as he a moved under it just a little at certain spots, his own fingers massaging lightly at the others lower back. "Or I could just have a slow reaction time ~" He smirked lightly.
Head tilting a little he closed his eyes enjoying the touch as he purred. It didnt hurt, it'd been a long time ago... His tail swished behind him as he watched Ridley through half lidded eyes, interested at the sudden aura around him...
Ridley shouldn't be thinking about things he didnt know for sure, though Andrei was oblivious to the thoughts that were bother his pretty birdie. He opened his eyes fully when the others rubbed along his chest, his fingers sliding along the others hair... At being pushed he didnt step back, but stood where he was, ears perked. Keeping his arm around the other he canting his head and slipped his fingers under the others chin, tilting him up so that he would look at him.
"It can wait..." He wasnt stupid, he could tell something was up... "What's wrong gorgeous?"

Ridley
Could it really wait? It had been scattered there for some time; fairly understandable that he should get it up and in very soon. Or at least, that was what the falcon convinced himself, whilst he stood in the lion's presence. He frowned at the feeling of the others clawed fingers beneath his chin, his hands extending uncomfortably. The reality of the matter was, Ridley had no idea what how he should respond to the question - aside from the fact that he didn't want to sound pathetic and reveal the truth, there stood the dilemma of being incapable of concocting a simple lie. So he didn't know what to say as his eyes peered curiously into Andrei's. He bit at his tongue contemplatively, "I'm just embarrassed, is all..." He whispered finally, a gentle smile pulling his lips upward: "Maybe a little tired, as well. It's nothing that I won't get over in time though, Drei." He pat the other's cheek - the tiniest indication that he was grateful for the other hybrid's concern. He voiced it, nevertheless: "Thank you."
Whereupon he gulped the dry nervousness in his mouth, his bones aching with regret. It was painful to lie to someone as reliable as the lion. How difficult was it to tell the truth, exactly? Not hard at all. But the truth sometimes hurt more. It had to Ridley, that was for certain.
And he was embarrassed.
And he was tired.
So he hadn't lied.
He pulled his hand away from the feline quietly, chestnut-dipped wings flexing with uncertainty as he moved his attention again to what he had scattered on the floor. The items lay sprawled around them - a complete catastrophe and it was his fault entirely... so he need clean it up on his own.
It was hard to talk - even look - at the other male right now as it was. Indecisiveness and confusion left for little if anything to say. He parted lips quietly, his tone hesitant: "So I'm just gonna get everything situated - yeah, handsome lion? And I don't want you helping me..." He shook an index finger, "I... need to learn a lesson..." It sounded awkward, that was for sure. And part of him merely wished that Andrei could stay and comfort him. But it was a dumb thing to be upset about in the first place - if the feline heard his complaints, what had been troubling him, he would probably keel over with laughter.
Because Ridley was weak and melodramatic.
And he had made that clear to himself numerous times.

Tail swishing behind him lightly, the lion searched the others eyes quietly. When he was told the other was embarrassed and tired, he wasn't sure what he should say. For some reason, he couldnt quite put his finger on it, that didn't seem to be the problem. Contemplating the others features a moment, he gently let his finger stroke the others unconsciously.
Andrei gave a small purr at the cheek pat, a small smirk picking at his lips. Finally letting go of the others chin he looked around too... Hm.. Well, there were some things that should probably get put back.
Looking back at Ridley he saw the falcon was looking down; there was something up and he wanted to know what. Ears perking, he looked at the finger that was shaken at him. Finding it amusing he smirked and took the others hand sizing it with his own, palm to palm, as he watched Ridley. "Learn a lesson? What lesson might that be, hmm?"
Kissing the others forehead he retreated back, letting go and trying not to step on anything in the process. "If you dont want any help, by all means," he gave a mock bow, "be my guest to clean up the mess. I on the other hand will sit on this here counter and make sure you get the job done."
The lion probably should have insisted that he would help no matter the cost or lessons learned, but he wasn't very fond of cleaning just in general. At home, he usually made the mess but left it for someone else to clean up, not that he was home very often as was. Grinning, he took a seat on the said counter, hopping up, tail swishing behind him, sitting back on his hands, watching the falcon.

Ridley
Fingertips twitched upon the seizing of his hand, his eyes glancing towards it with uncertainty. Then came the inquiry concerning the 'lesson' he intended to learn, whereupon storm-tinted attention moved its way upon the lion again. He quirked a slender brow towards Andrei when his forehead was kissed, quite suddenly and notably tenderly, after which the male retreated to the counter. Cheeks puffed with frustration whilst the navy eyes watched him - but the falcon got to work, nevertheless. Things seemed so much heavier now that he wasn't so desperate to move them in a hurry, the falcon noted as he inserted the last shelf. The question lay in whether or not they were in right. He pulled at the things lightly, inspecting the sturdiness.
So far so good.
Ridley wondered, whilst he watched the food on the floor, why Andrei had remained. The falcon sighed, bending over the lift the scattered items thoughtfully.
And then it hit him.
Did the lion stay just for the view? He was bending down constantly, after all. That very well could be the reasoning. Or part of it. Perhaps the other part was to make sure that he got the job done, like he had said. The bird moved his attention onto the cat, a wing flicking uncertainly. No - neither of those could be it. So what could it be? Hopefully not to get the actual answer out of him once he was finished and had no excuse for avoidance.. he had sounded so convincing. Hadn't he?
So then why?
"You scare me." He admitted finally - suddenly. Hands grasped at a milk carton with desperate force, "I'm scared of you." The falcon turned his attention momentarily before setting the thing, newly bent, within the fridge: "Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Milk-Carton..." He murmured towards it tiredly before his eyes were upon Andrei again, "You're in the moment, aren't you? That's okay, though - Andrei... it's you. Me on the other hand..." He frowned, "I can't..." The tiniest gulp before he continued, "That's not me. I'm not like that - or at least, not normally. Which is why I will apologize for having kissed you so suddenly... it wasn't like me, it wasn't right of me... please forgive me." Hands grasped at other things he had tossed out of the refrigerator, and the falcon placed them in their previous spots thoughtfully: "I wish that I was smarter - older - better. But I'm not. I'm Ridley. And Ridley just wants to... go home..." He whimpered, completing his task and shutting the fridge-door quietly, "He wants to go home and watch Winnie the Pooh..."

Andrei
The lion actually found himself watching his legs as he swung them lightly, quite curious... they always came back, even if he didnt want to them too. Every so often he would look to Ridley in curiosity of if the other was done putting things away, but always found that he was in fact still in the process of doing so.
Now what lesson was the other learning? Not to pull everything out of the fridge so that he could hide in it? Maybe something deeper... Like---
His train of thought was thrown off when the falcon spoke, his ears perking to catch the words. He scared him? His eyes widened lightly, not completely prepared for such knowledge.. but it was good to know? But Ridley kept going and he shoved his thoughts aside as he listened, catching the others gaze.
Hurr... This was a crummy and mildly awkward predicament he now found himself in. Finally after the other had finished, he just sat on the counter, leaned back on his hands as he tried to sort through all the things he'd just been told.
Finally, after a couple minutes he spoke, not looking at the other for the time being. "Lessee... As far as moments go, I think they're refreshing, and you know, you never ever know what could become of them. Moments, despite their meaning could last a looooong time and sometimes melt into something even better." Tilting his head he looked at the other, complete seriousness in his eyes. "As for the kiss, that's up to you to regret since you gave it, but just know I had no problem with receiving it. And thirdly," He moved to hop off the counter grabbing his bottle.
"I know you're Ridley and hope you to be nothing else. Im pretty sure youre my only pretty birdy." Moving he stood behind the other gently giving a ruffle to the others hair with his free hand, stalling as he pondered a kiss to the others hair, which he did only briefly and didnt linger, though he murmured, "Im sorry I scared you, it wasnt what I intended to do..." Giving him a loving nudge he murred, "Go home and watch Winnie the Pooh then if that's really what you'd like to do... No one will hold it against you."
With that he let the other go and started to wander from the kitchen.

Ridley
He stood, completely dumbfounded, on trembling feet - and watched with a curious gaze as the other scurried towards the exit. Stupid Ridley. The falcon opened his mouth to phrase an apology - but noted, in pure frustration, that the words would not come. He stay where the lion left him, his lips parted and his legs - for some strange reason - unmoving. But he had, in a way, asked for Andrei to leave. What he had wanted was assurance - a promise. Yet he knew that he would not get that...
... Which did not change the fact that he hurt.
He took one step towards the retreating figure, but stopped short of catching up. He had scared Andrei away. He had said such awful things, and he felt equally awful as his previous vocalizations were. And he knew now why the feline wanted to slip through that door... if Ridley weren't Ridley, he'd want to get away from Ridley, too. He was a crazy, terrible person and he understood completely the lion's yearnings for the exit.
How could he not understand? It was completely understandable, after all.
He cringed upon remembering the emphasis on 'really', his wings flicking behind him tiredly. His fingers intertwined embarrassedly and regretfully before words finally found him, "I'm sorry..." The bird whispered childishly, "I'm sorry that my personality stinks. It stinks like manure." He smiled at the accuracy of comparison.
Manure did stink, after all.
And his attitude definitely stunk.
Like animal carcasses, or moldy cheese, or rotten eggs.
He knew he should leave. It was evident. Andrei had decided that he was too troublesome - and went for the bottle, instead. Which, also, was to be understood. But he couldn't go through the door - things were already awkward. The falcon turned towards the window. Perhaps...
He opened it thoughtfully, peering outside with curious, gray orbs.

Andrei
He didn't so much scurry, he just went not sure what he should do now. He never intended to scare the other... Tail flicking behind him he took a swig from the bottle, cringing lightly as an after effect. He had no idea what was going on in the falcons brain, but it seemed something was off...
Sighing he went and flopped on the couch and took a glance around the sanctuary... What to do, what to do... Though Ridley was the only thing that came back to mind even though he tried to get it out. What was the deal? Maybe he'd heard it wrong. Maybe he misinterpreted the meaning of Ridley's 'scared'. But he had said he'd wanted to go home... Agh! Geez!
Taking another swig he rested his head back the falcon gone for just a moment before coming back, maybe he should go apologize for scaring the other. Maybe he should go get a clarification of what he had really meant.
Yeah, that was a good idea! Giving a small purr he pushed himself back to his feet and started for the kitchen he'd just vacated. "Ridley --" He spoke as he was walking through the door and stopped in his tracks at seeing the falcon looking out the window that was now open?
Hold ON a minute! "Ridley! What are you doing?!" He stood where he was, again shocked by the other. He had a confused look on his face as he looked on.

Ridley
He whirled around to view his inquirer, gray orbs widening with uncertainty at the lion's worried features, whereupon he turned his attention back upon the window. "Whaaaat? Ridley whimpered awkwardly, his back against the wall: "I was just lookin' for a way out, is all - there's nothing wrong with that..." He perked a brow, wings flicking behind him in one uncomfortable gesture. He didn't understand - where had this come from, suddenly? The surprised features, the emphasis on certain words. It made Andrei sound either concerned or angry - the falcon couldn't quite put his finger on it. What he knew was that he didn't want the other upset, per say - that was exactly what he had wanted to avoid. It wasn't as though he had done something bad, now was it? Merely he wanted to find an escape route that made things a little less awkward. Obviously he hadn't succeeded. That was quite evident. But why? Why was Andrei so concerned and surprised?
Whereupon the falcon turned towards the window, and realized that they weren't on the first story.
But for heaven's sake, he had wings! Of course, he wasn't sure how to work them - but Andrei didn't know that... nor did he know whether or not Ridley was intending on leaping out the window or just peering out curiously towards the grounds below. Maybe he was just curious as to what Ridley was doing altogether? Of this, the falcon was unsure - but he spoke nevertheless about his first assumption, his gestures frenzied: "Oh no, no, no, no, no! I was going to climb out! I wasn't going to jump or anything... I just didn't want to go through the doorway and see you 'cause I thought you were mad at me, I mean... you left on such bad terms! I mean... it's hard to explain myself clearly, isn't it? Okay - let's start over..." He took a deep breath and calmed down the slightest bit, stepping away from where he had gotten himself cornered, "When you left the kitchen I thought that you were angry with me, so I was gonna climb out the window - figuring that it would be easier for both of us not to see each other or something - but then you came in and..."
... Hold the phone...
"Why were you so worried, anyhow? Did you think I was planning on jumping?"

Andrei
Andrei couldn't help the look of utter confusion and incredulity that was on his face and Ridley explained. Tail flicking a little he watched as the falcon backed himself into the corner, though made sure to get back out. What an explanation...
Ears perking he blinked as a question was directed at him... "Um... Well, I didnt know what you were going to do. You're a bit... unpredictable." They obviously had different thought patterns even though what Ridley had come up with was... interesting, it was sort of correct; if he were Ridley that was.
He cleared his throat a little as he took a few steps and set the bottle on a counter, before taking a few steps to the window and closed it. "It seems... We've had a few misinterpretation of each others actions and words..."
The lion looked at the other, "First of all, I didn't leave because I was mad. I merely left because that seemed to be the thing to do. If I scared you, I wouldn't want to scare you more." Though he still had no clue how he scared the falcon he didn't wish any harm or something so severe as fear onto him.
"And as far as I'm concerned, you aren't on bad terms with me." He gave a smile, "If you were, I'd probably end up going crazy as it seems you haunt me even after I leave."

Ridley
"No, no, no, no! I didn't mean that you - scared-me-scared-me - you more or less..." He frowned upon a loss for words, his neutral gaze following the lion as he crossed the room, after which he pulled the window shut. His wings flicked uncomfortably at that, fingers grasping worriedly at the material of his own clothing: "I just meant that; I liked - no, like - you a lot, and I'm not very good when it comes to anything involving romance - more so unrequited." He took a deep breath to calm himself, "My brain is a little underdeveloped. I'm a little juvenile - er... I guess maybe a better word would be stupid or immature." He tapped his foot against the floor, eyes averting from the lion to the material of his shoe as he pondered, wordlessly, whether he was being selfish or not. Consideration informed him it was the second, bearing in mind that he was doing it for his and Andrei's good. Wasn't he?
Ridley bit his lip.
"I'm sorry if I haunt you after you leave..." He cooed regretfully, "I don't mean to be such a pain." He brought his attention towards the door. He haunted Andrei after Andrei left - but what if Ridley left? Would it be the same difference?
"Maybe I should go, Drei-Drei." He whispered, "I mean - I'm trouble. And not the good kind of trouble! I mean... crazy trouble; nut-house crazy..." He paused for good measure, "I really, really am sorry for all the trouble I caused - to Mister Fridge, and to Mister Milk Carton - and to you." The falcon shook his head, "Truly, deeply sorry."
Whereupon he scurried towards the door.
"... I love you, Andrei..." He choked out hesitantly, eyebrows knit and arms hung loosely and uncertainly beside him, "A lot." He emphasized by throwing said arms open, "More than this much - and I'ma sorry, again. Bye-bye."
He frowned and exited the kitchen doubtfully, his mood drifting.
On a brighter note, he could take his frustrations out on Baasima - who had been the cause of all this in the first place.
