I’ve just spent 20K on a fawn’s flute and I was wondering it is a wise decision to keep and sell the resulting items or to just sell it back at an inflated price?Your advice is appreciated…I won’t give you anything, but I’ll appreciate it. doesn’t that make you feel good?

I agree. You should save, int he description for the horns they say something about being used in recipes. When the zOMG comes out, then the price should inflate.

I'll be the nay-sayer and say I don't like it as a long term investment.
1. it's a cash shop item. The price may go up or down temporarily, but as long as anyone with real world money can buy one at any time, they will not be rare items. And if the price goes up enough, people with real world money buy more to sell for gold, and that brings the price back down.
1a. Even if they stop selling the flute in the cash shop, it's very likely it'll be one of the prizes for future grab bag items.
2. The corrollary is that that horns, etc. are also cash shop items. The more flutes there are, the more of every item there will be - and there will keep being more as more flutes are out there and being used daily. Even the rare items keep sinking in price.
3. Gaia has never said that the flute will be the only source of these horns. There's nothing anywhere that says there won't also be other ways to get the same horns through the zomg game.
4. Having said all that, I do think there will be a spike in price once the game starts and everyone rushes to cook up the recipes the horns are needed for, just like the prices of inks and bugs spiked when the tattoos and then the body dyes came out. But they didn't stay there. Some careful vending and you could make a killing, wait too long and you'll be back where you started.
As always, I reserve the right to be dead wrong.

I'm saving mine, just to be sure I can have some extra recipe items for myself even.
I want to be able to get new stuff from the battle system.
