I've never heard that. Ever. O_o I don't know why your truss rod would need fixing, though, unless your neck was at an angle that it shoulnd't be at.

I've only heard it once. So I dunno the validity of it razz But I mean, Matthew Gerrard, the best bass player I've ever gotten to know and hit song writer for crazy big acts like Hilary Duff and Miley Cyrus does it every day sooo... Must be something to it razz

Either that or he's an idiot. You don't have to be smart to be good at bass.
Look at Eric Johnson. That dude's a ******** 'tard when it comes to his guitar and stuff.
"I don't have any finish under the bridge because it increases sustain." "I can hear what batteries are in my pedal by listening to it."
Seriously. He's said that stuff. Aloud. In interviews.

What an idiot xD Well, I don't know much about it, it's just what I've heard razz It's not like he does the full thing, that would be pointless, he just does a tiny, tiny tune to keep it perfect. Ohh well, even if it was a good thing I'd probably be too lazy to learn something so small xD (small in the short run that is)

s**t, just get a Warmoth neck if you're that concerned. They have a double truss rod made a steel, which has a greater tensility than graphite (every other neck) and doesn't even add a pound to the weight, just a few ounces.

DO NOT ADJUST YOUR TRUSS ROD EVERY DAY.
You will ruin your guitar, and may end up tearing up the insides of your neck making the truss rod unusable.
only adjust when needed.

Eh, its not that much of one. He probably just sits the neck down on some sort of ruler that he tapes down and marks how much the neck needs to be adjusted, then takes out his allen wrench and adjusts. That's probably not the pro method, but its how I would do it.

You just need to find the height from the fretboard to the strings, something like that. its been awhile.

Ah. I have no idea. XD I just know the basics of a proper setup that involve action and pickup height.

KamikazeSkies Fen just needs to get laid, that's all.
Maybe then he wouldn't be so DEHRRRRR about posts that mention a single musician's name. He almost deleted the bass thread, you know. Because someone was talking about Flea.
