So I finished reading Breaking Dawn, and there were a few things I felt a tad bit offended about.
I'm Romanian. The Romanians' were supposedly the most freakiest out of all of them, and most characters in the book were not very fond of them. I just hope that the people who read the book are not assuming that all Romanians' are creepy like that. I'm not even close to creepy! /sarcasm
I must be overreacting, though, right? [:
/endofrant
So, was there anything in the book that offend you, too? I want to hear about them! C:

To be Honest with you, Romania has always been one of my favorite countries, and i understood the creepy-ness of the vampires. They were old and some what like the Volturi and revengeful. But i see what you mean.

I actually though the Romanians were pretty cool. They were a little diffrent and mysterious, plus they wanted the fight at the end of the book as much as i did.

I can understand where you're coming from, but I'm glad you're not too offended. whee After all, not all vampires and be gorgeous =P Some of them are bound to be creepy. I'm sure SM didn't mean anything by choosing Romania as their home.
I thought they were pretty nifty, though. They were pretty damn interesting, and I loved their story. It was really cool how on-the-same-page they were, and how they felt about the Volturi. On that note, it was very realistic. In today's world, rulers and government leaders are often corrupt. It's not difficult to see...it really added something realistic for me. But that's me being silly. mrgreen

Thank you everyone, you made me feel so much better. And now that I think of it, Stefan and Vladimir are pretty kickass, pardon the language. 8P

Alisox I'm glad we could help. whee I know things similar to this regarding my religion offend me often, so I know how it feels, and it's really nice to have people there for you 3nodding Although, I'm sure Stephenie Meyer didn't mean it at all in an offensive way, it still kind of hurts, you know?
Wells, Alice will not allow you to be saddened! Or else I'll be sad, too. ; w; I really wish I could say something to make you feel better. My wording awful, so... If you want to, you can tell me about them. I'm here to listen to ya whenever you need it! C:

♥ Nah. I don't judge real life people based on a fiction book. It's like saying if I went to visit Forks, and I see some hot lookin person, that they're a Cullen. ><

LOL, I didn't think anything like that of Romanians. I just thought "They're so cool!" about the vampires. I honestly can't remember where most of them came from anyway.

I would never judge a group of people by the way one or two people act (especially if they're fake characters), and I'm sure that's the way other people feel too. ^^ And, honestly, the Romanians are my favorite characters from the Twilight series. I'm a total Vladimir and Stefan fangirl~ >w<
