"Are they stuck? Or do they want to be here?" Riyo replied to the naga's comments.
Then the girl was anxious to go. A complete 360. A change of heart. It was obvious why. If she was in her position, she'd probably be running for the door too. But, with experience under her belt, she knew they'd be going nowhere.
And that was confirmed when attention was brought back to the non-existent stairs.
"Isn't that neat?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, moving towards the door and giving it a good knock.
Meanwhile, Cain stood back there and quietly watched. He didn't look stressed, nor did he look quite as amused as Riyo.

Layla tilted her head a fraction, allowing one pearl earring to fall against her long neck and she pursed her green lips in thought to Riyo's statement. It was possible whoever was within this house may want to be. In fact not once had they heard a call for help of any kind. The Naga nodded her head once in acceptance of it and spoke "You might be on to something, if they do want to be here we might not be welcome."
Susan's palms were sweating and she rubbed them on her clothes. Alright so now she was freaking out but so what? Things weren't normal here at all. Taking a huge gulp of air into her lungs, then exhaling it, the red-head calmed herself. "Fine ok...I can handle this!"
Then as Riyo gave the door a knock, there was a reply knock from the other side of said door. Someone, or something, banged back three times. It made her jump, mostly because the sound echoed loudly as though from all angles rather than that particular door itself.
"Um, well maybe we should open the door?" Her voice was a little higher than normal but she tried her best not to freak out completely. Susan couldn't lose it in front of such calm people, she just couldn't!
Snatch then seemed to huff aggressively and the two companions shared a look. That was never good news.

Riyo raised an eyebrow and looked the naga's way after she finished her last statement. "You think we were welcome anyways?"
At the return knock, Riyo turned the handle as hard as she could and proceeded to practically break the door open. Resistance? Sometimes there was, sometimes there wasn't. Best to be prepared.
Cain cringed as she proceeded to take everything out on the door. Hopefully she wouldn't end up face-first on the filthy floor.
