The Marketplace is an ever-changing entity.
So, for those of us old and new (or those of us who've forgotten their password and are therefore broke) I've decided to appeal to the masses as to how to play the market.
Y'know, buying for low prices and selling for high prices.
So what are some items right now that are hot spots for this action?

Monthly Collectibles are usually a good bet, except they can fluctuate pretty randomly due to the fact that you can buy them. Try past MCs.
Also be sure to incorporate the 2% into the equation.

What should I know about the 2%? That's an addition if there ever was one.

MCs? Good bet? DONT MAKE ME LAUGH.
They drop like rocks after they're opened. Most of the time. The Bags of Win 2 might inflate with time....might.

EIs seem to raise in price the day before they evolve.
You have to be careful though. If they turn out bad, they drop like more rocks.

You know, rocks drop just as fast as play-doh. Or as fast as a rubber ball, or anything else of the same size and shape.

Bialybloom123 What should I know about the 2%? That's an addition if there ever was one. When you sell an item, 2% of your revenue is taken away for 'taxes'. It's a gold sink.

RYAN!!!!!
You have been gone for a VERY long time, havent you?
First the 2% - a long time ago gaia decided to be lame and add a 2% tax to all items sold. So if you sell something in the MP for 100g the person buying it will pay 100g but you will only get 98g.
A while ago gaia opened up a cash shop. If you go to the "shop" drop down and choose shops, its "cash shop la victoire" It comes up in a pop up window.
EIs are evolving items. They are only available in the cash shop for a set amount of time. Each item is there for a different amount of time. EIs evolve several times and each time they evolve they get new poses. They are really fun biggrin
I havent played in the MP since they added the tax so I have no clue what its like now D: But I know EIs are really popular.
A few times gaia has come out with cash shop items called "bags of win" and "OMG boxes" each time you buy one and open it you get 1 item worth like 5k or more. Sometimes you get really awesome items, sometimes crappy items. They have a lot of store items in them and some gift box items and usually a few brand new items.
