my words are magic beans that grow into a stalk so, follow where I lead, let's take a little walk past wolves that ain't nothing but huff and puff you're running with the big dogs now and I just called your bluff my house is made of stone, while you're wearing grandma's clothes I mastered poetry and reinventing prose with flows that topple foes and rescue damsels in distress my cupboard's never bare, my porridge passes every test impressed? distressed? afraid you've met your match? I burn quick like candlesticks; too nimble for you to catch so sing, "hey diddle diddle, this cat don't play no fiddle but he still makes music so sweet that it soothes the savage beast, puts lions right to sleep and makes the wolves lie down with the sheep"
I am the sovereign of the seas, litigating destiny. I stood on pedestals just to get you next to me. I battled vast creatures, even stood up to Zeus. Poseidon tried hidin', end up hung from ah noose. They're all soft from my tragedy, ignorance is passin' me. Medusa's got a picture in the mirror that keeps grabbin' me. The picture's getting clearer, I'm a literary martyr. Poetic warrior, I'm like Achilles fighting smarter. I'm Ares in the flesh so the lessers wanna fight me. Apollo tried to stop me, but I took his Aphrodite. Figured since I won, petty comments I'd ignore. Hate to burst your bubble, I'm your apple of discord.

Now here is the thing, this is a collaboration between my sister and I, Tak-Jak for those who do not know. This is a little different then either of our usual works as in, it is fashioned in a rap-like manor. The spelling and wording was on purpose, and I know it may irritate some (It irritated Tak) but it was all in the sport of fun.
Mine is the blue verse. Tak's is red.

Of course. stare
I like both, but Alec's feels like it's meaner. twisted Like the claims there are heavier, or something.

Amazing, but one expects nothing less. I loved the tie-in with Greek mythology. It wasn't like the stuff that Tak-chan normally writes (dunno about you, Panic) because her stuff's usually elegant and many-layered, like looking through veils of mist-cloth to seek some deeper meaning. And Panic-san, you were wonderful too. That down there
I burn quick like candlesticks; too nimble for you to catch so sing, "hey diddle diddle, this cat don't play no fiddle but he still makes music so sweet that it soothes the savage beast, puts lions right to sleep and makes the wolves lie down with the sheep"
was my favorite part of yours. A fantastic read, both of you.

I know gonk Isn't it horrible Voxxy? Alec did much better with his part than I... as much as I would hate to admit it.
But all in the purpose of something different.

I was thinking more like, dragons, magic, sorcerers, etc. Typical fantasy junk. >< And both of you did well I thought, though Alec's makes more sense to the general, non-mythologically-educated public.

The blue's more based on fables and the red's on mythology. But both are very nice.
EDIT: and I have just stated the obvious. Sorry.
