I'm def goin 2 Harajuku in Oct and I was wondering does anybody know of any cheaper non brand stores there or of any cheapish cosplay stores

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find a slew, to be honest, but most of the off-brand items you find are going to be total garbage. See if you can find one of the second hand shops, instead. They're just as cheap, but you can get brand name, really nice quality items that aren't going to be covered in cheap lace or poor workmanship.
If you're really looking for brand new off-brand, though, I think there's a Bodyline shop in the area?

Yeah I agree, it's gonna be hard to find cheaper lolita stuff that isn't literally gonna look like crap, so keep your eyes peeled! And yeah, second-hand shops.

Go to Takeshita-dori （竹下道り）, one of two main streets in the Harajuku district, on the second and third stories you'll see tons of second-hand lolita and VK stores.
Closet Child (great second-hand store) has locations in Shinjuku （新宿）, Ikebukuro （池袋）, Sagami Ono （相模大野）, and Yokohama （横浜）.

I wish to go to Tokyo myself someday, with lots and lots of saveings.
People would have to tear me out of BTSSB and what ever store that sells Shirly Temple Cute with a crowbar.
