Kamali's paws hit the ground lightly, though the crunching of leaves under toe rang out in the crisp air. The journey had not gone well, but he was glad to be back home. He smiled slightly, golden gaze flicking around, head turning as he looked about for Noke. Home was where ever his love was, he kenw that not. Home could not really be in a place, could it? To gaurd territory did not make it your home, it simply left it being your territory. But to guard the loved ones inside that territory? That is what truly made hit a home.
They'd been walking for some time through wooded area, and suddenly he could see the tree line ahead, which opened into a small feild. His tail gave a few delighted swishes, he loved open areas, even if it was dangerous if near man-kind or hunters and the likes. But he had nothing to fear, no man lived around these parts that he was aware of.
"We'll be back to the lands soon.. won't we?" He called to Monenoke, thinking it must be close now. He'd probably have to be a bit more social and such, oh well. He didn't mind, he liked chatting with others. But perhaps it was different with new pack mates? They made him nervous, that was for sure.
He took a deep breath, enjoying very much so the fresh autumn air. Soon it would be almost too cold for walks like these.. but he'd probably go on them anyways. His gaze flicked to a fallen leaf, slowly tumbling through the air to rest on the ground. He grinned, tail still wagging. He was feeling a bit playful.

Noke pushed past the brush to find the terrain becoming all the more familiar. Scents of the fresh evergreen clung heavily in the air, not that it smelled bad it was just intoxicating. It was quiet except for the movement of the two lupines weaving through the small beaten path. It seemed after the turn of events neither or them really were in the mood to talk, moreso to go home and finally relax.
She gave a slid nod of her head while she walked as they approached the open field, "Mmmhm." Her voice spoke, whilst amber orbs looked across the field which fattened game every year for the pack. She was grateful that no human camps migrated here. She knew that if the time ever came when humans roamed Akui and Nyx's territory it would not be good for either side. All that would come with it would be the humans holding a deeper loathe of wolves and the wolves moving to another terra.
She shook her fur before continuing on the trail, small clouds of vapor poured from her nostrils with each exhale. It was getting colder, and the days were becoming increasingly shorter. Hopefully there would be no blizzard this year, Kamali's old packland had gotten the most of it, but still the remnants had affected the Western boundaries of their new home.

His ears flicked a little, sighing. He wanted to run after the falling leaves, try and catch them. But he did not think it was completely appropriate right now. He tried to think of something to speak about, maybe to lift the mood even. "We should probably go swimming soon. It'll be too cold to in a few days." He didn't know why he spoke of swimming of all things, but that was what he decided to speak about.
Plus it was true, swimming would be bad soon enough because of how cold it would be. And he'd like to play in the water before winter ended. He was back at Noke's side again, going at a slightly slower pace due to his longer legs. He waited for a response.
