As is customary, the door closes behind you with an audiable click-the door is locked. As your eyes adjust to the darkness, you find yourself in
THE ENTRYWAY
The room is a small hallway, five feet wide and eight feet tall, perhaps fifteen feet long with a door at either end. A low table sits with a small candle atop it, which provides barely enough light to illuminate the larger brazier next to the table and to make out the existance of the other objects in the room: the far door and a painting. A small plaque is hung on the wall next to the front door, though it is too dim to read what it says.

Geez it's dark in here! Can you see much of anything? *Claws at the air a bit before his eyes adjust to the erie darkness*

Phenton steps towards the candle, his thoughts numbed within sound of the rain beating on the house.
[A few questions. Are there coals in brazier? Is the candle in a candle holder or a candelabrum of some sort?]

The Brazier has coals, the candle is in a holder. (lol at bolding it like those games do)
