I didn't know if this was the right place to put this but how is it to be done?
Is it going to be more like a lead Stallion who watches over his vast herd? Or perhaps more clan-like where there are family-groups each led by the head of the family and each of those heads led by the leader of the clan?
Or is this just a bunch of lone centaurs all agreeing to go in one direction together?

I am more asking this in role-play type fashion although it would be neat to have title's and groups within the Earthweaver herd. Mini clans within the herd that adopt newbies and guide them along all following the lead clan.

Just a few ideas... as a newbie myself I am probably just unaware of the system already set up sweatdrop

Typically, centaurs live in extended family groups, but often move along the same migration paths for so long that they become inseparably mixed with other families they meet along the way.

As for the breeding side of families, centaurs will usually rut throughout their early adulthood, eventually calming down when there are four or five mouths to feed. In particularly bountiful areas, this may be a higher number.

New herds are formed when a family group becomes so large as to make co-habitation an issue, and after some in-family fight several of the younger centaurs will up and leave for another area.
