Lucky. ;-; If you had to rate the game on a scale of 1-10, what would you rate it?
When I heard Zidane's Jap voice, I lol'd. He sounded so girlie. I have no idea what he sounds like in the English version though.

Zidane sounds a bit like a teen who's voice is starting to crack...which is appropriate since the character profile for him places him at 16 I think......Regardless, I'd rate the game a 6/10.....definately better than The Bouncer, but it's nowhere near a Soul Calibur or other such games..... Just me though...

The game is alright....there are a crapload of reviews for it by now deathwalker............but like I said, it's okay compared to other fighting games, but not great......the controls and camera can be a bit...hinky......

I completely agree with Endranse. I was fairly disappointed in the lack of a consistent storyline of Dissidia, such as how while some stories overlapped, others had no place and seemed to be shoddily worked in to develop the characters more. That being said, I never really had the patience to complete the game, as the story was largely repetitive in its framework and some of the DP chances proved to be too tedious to get.
That being said, the game's battle system was cleverly or- ganized and allowed lower level characters to beat higher level characters with the use of advanced play; however, I must admit that my favorite and least favorite part of the game was the voice acting. While Tidus still remains my fav- orite voice of the series, I believe Naruto's English voice actress should have been used for Zidane, Firion's voice should have been completely recasted, Kuja should have had Endrance's voice, Onion Knight should have sounded cuter (to collaborate with his cute skills), Kefka's laugh from the game should have been perpetuated, WoL's voice should have been manlier, and there should have been more distinc- tions between the armored foes (Garland, Exdeath, and Golbez).
Overall, the gameplay was okay, but I believe this resembles more of a Soul Calibur than a Final Fantasy. Also, the mouth movements of each charcter should have been more than just a warping of the face; it should have resembled the facial movements of Kingdom Hearts II, at a minimum.

Indeed the voice acting was subpar...though I think that Kefka's voice actor was appropriately annoying (I think it was Dave Wittenberg). I think that Naruto's VA would've been overkill for Zidane but seriously, I want to know how much they payed Yuri Lowentall and Johnny Young Bosch to do Firion and Cecil....because those two amazing voice actors almost had stiffer performances than Cosmos, Cloud of Darkness, and Golbez combined........at least the came is pretty to look at...for the most part...I've been getting the camera stuck in corners in some of the less open areas like Pandemonium and Kefka'sTower...
Coherent storylines are something that's been lacking in quite a few Square-Enix releases of the past few years...They've got to get it together...seriously....the Recent quality oftheir games has been mixed at best...I think less time needs to be put into re-makes and rehashes (preferablystop making them all together) and more focusneeds to go into new properties or into existing series....atthis rate, it seems like Final Fantasy XIII is getting all the company's attention, which makes me a bit nervous...
