Laid on extra-thick in the heat of the moment, it seemed that the accent that had started a violent misunderstanding was a thing that one particularly hot-tempered Libran lupine simply could never get away from.

"Whot do yew mean!? Whot in the bloody hell a'e you saying?"

Though he didn't have the disgustingly choppy Cockney dialect, he certainly had a heavy lean toward the Greenwich affliction... and time and time again, it seemed to cause him only a great deal of discomfort and misunderstanding.

"It isn't my accent that's the problem--it's yore bloody ea's!" With his slick voice, it was startling how vicious it could become in mere seconds, and with his ears falling back and his lip curled, this was one fatally dangerous wolf.

Clad in red, white, and gold, he was a contrast only because of that clothing, his fur marked completely as black, with some spare white flecks and tips here and there. One thing was for certain, though--he had an uppercrust sort of beauty about him, and a lascivious undertone all the while. He was a gorgeous specimen of the Wayward race, and his burning, eerie white eyes became relentless with his passion; marked by his desire to cause harm by a lethal glint.

It was rare that anyone made him quite this angry, and lose his normal calm disposition--but in exchange for his décor, he was set to prove a point... though neither had really much insight as to what had even started this feud...

Firmly on the other side of this feud sat (or rather, balanced awkwardly upon his curled tail, as he did when on land) a large, teal cat with the tail of a fish. He was adorned with beads, possessed a small, crystal crown, and his long, teal hair blew wildly in the wind. His odd markings resembled some sort of tribal paint, which contributed to his overall imposing visage. To top it all off, in one of his hands rested a trident that was nearly as long as he was. He held it raised in front of him, not in an open threat, but as a reminder that he had it, and knew very well how to use it. He rarely took crap from anyone, and he wasn't about to start with this arrogant, english... Wolf.

"Excuse me," he started in a slightly more high and mighty voice than he usually used - This heathen was, after all, well... A heathen - "there is nothing wrong with my ears." Said ears twitched at this, the sun visible through their fin-like membranes.

"If you'd ever learned to speak English properly, you'd be able to communicate in such a way that I would actually have a chance at understanding, and we wouldn't be in this mess," he finished with a hiss. He could no longer quite remember exactly why they were arguing, but he was certainly not the one at fault!

Oh, had this bothersome b*****d done it, now.

"MY COUNTRYMEN TAUGHT YOU BASTA'DS HOW TO SPEAK!!" he literally roared in the other's face, his calm aura completely lost to fury--he proved, in action, that he was not at all afraid of that trident, because he had a few tricks up his own sleeve.

Though in this place, his usual powers seemed to be... different--diminished, even. This almost made him wary--but he was too heated to give up, now--because there was no way in hell he was wrong.

If Koning was at all intimidated by the growing rage of his opponent, it didn't show. He merely growled, narrowed his eyes, and said in a quiet, threatening voice, "nobody taught my people to speak, thanks." His tail flicked on the ground behind him. "We had our own language, but were forced to adopt this silly language of yours, since nobody cared to try to understand ours."

Though his anger had calmed to more of a slow, quiet burn, he was more ready than ever to take physical action in this situation. His trident came around, prongs pointing straight at the wolf before him. "I am well trained with this," he said quietly. "It would be wise of you to back down now."

A rather bloodthirsty growl procured itself in the other's throat, his eyes still narrow and his tail lashing once in awhile with his hatred. "Then maybe if you'd lea'ned it prope'ly, we wouldn't have a problem, would we?"

Again, pointing the blade of blame back at the aquatic one.

He paused only a moment when he saw the weapon lowered, looking upon it and then back to his opponent whilst he was speaking--some nonsense. He really didn't care what. "And I suggest you point that thing away from me, or neither of us will be leaving this place unha'med."

Letting out a low hiss, he made a short, threatening jab with his trident, coming inches from the wolf's thigh. If it came down to it, he would aim to wound, not to kill - But if the impudent little furball was mortally wounded in the process of fighting back, who was he to blame?

"I certainly speak more clearly than you," he retorted, throwing in a snort to clearly communicate his disdain. "You're barely legible at best." He had always prided himself on being something of an eloquent speaker; He certainly wasn't going to take this kind of abuse from somebody who didn't even enunciate properly!

A short distance away, with his back to a large rock, sat a small, tan dog. His large tawny wings rested easily at his sides, curving slightly around him in an almost protective fashion. His life had been somewhat lacking in the adventure department lately, with Tibarn off on a longterm mission, and everyone else apparently busy as well. He was, quite simply, bored, which left him far too much time to sit and contemplate things.

The sound of voices carrying over the wind aroused him from his reverie; His head moved in the direction of the sound, seeking out its source. His piercing green eyes settled on the two odd combatants, arguing vehemently at the edge of the river.

The odder of the two, a cat with a fish-like bottom half, seemed oddly familiar... Perhaps he had run into him before. In any case, he couldn't yet tell which of them was in the wrong, but it was possible he could be of some help to the defending party. Raising to his feet, he swooped down towards the two on silent wings.

Having fairly good reflexes, the nimble-footed wolf was able to keep his distance from the jab, still heavily offended, despite the fact that it didn't come in contact. "I beg your pa'don, ingrate," he growled, snarling that last word with a heated passion, "but who was the one speaking English fi'st? ENGLAND!"

With that, he took a rather bold swing at the half-fish, moving in close so that the other's trident was much more useless. After all, with a ranged weapon, you can't do much when your enemy's in your face.

The wolf was an agile one indeed, Koning was finding, his test strike easily evaded, and his more compact opponent taking the offensive. He was no stranger to defense, however, and managed to get his trident up in a blocking position before any major strikes could be launched his way.

"Just because something is done first does not mean it was done right," he said, punctuating his remark with an agitated flick of his tail against the hard ground behind him, the motion making a loud slapping noise. His hard sapphire eyes stared into those of the wolf, not backing down an inch.

Correctly perceiving that the situation down below was quickly coming to blows, the winged dog took one last quick scan of the two combatants before making a sharp dive, pulling up the last second to hand lightly on the ground beside them. His wings quickly settled into their customary position, folded on his back, their tips nearly brushing the ground behind his feet.

Crossing his arms over his chest, he gave the two a slow look up and down, noting the clear anger on both faces. "What's happening here?" He questioned, keeping a calm, even tone to avoid agitating them further.

The lupine one's ears flattened back when he heard the half-breed's tail slap the ground. He was certainly not impressed--and he was growing less and less patient with every second. Damn... he'd missed.

"Without a beginning, there would be nothing," he hissed, lashing out with a hand to attempt either a slap or a slash, depending on whether his long, pointed nails caught or not.

When he heard another's voice, however, he snapped his head toward the source for only a moment. "Stay out of this! It isn't your fight!" he snapped pointedly, distracted from his quarrel only temporary.
