((OKAY! GO POST GO!!! And it WAS Johnny Cash... GOD J. HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW THAT.
I'm so offended D: ))
Jim had been sitting real still and quiet, intently listening to the scraps of conversation he could hear, and so far he'd been doing a fair job of it. He was grinning smugly, an expression he was making to spite Jack even though the man wouldn't see it.
But then that woman he had drug along was talking. He glanced up at her with a sour face.
"Losers?" He said, dumbfounded. And then his frown deepened. "What the hell are going on about, woman?" He wanted to know. "Take the horses for a RUN? They're not your horses!" He was hissing in a frustrated voice, fighting to keep his volume low.
But she was already heading out the back door. Jim went red around the collar and jerked his head back to the door where he could still hear their voices, and then back after her. Scrambling to his feet he sprinted after her. Not until he was out the backdoor of the kicthen did he speak again.
"You damned CRAZY? These ain't your horses! I can't let you ride 'em! It's MY job to take care of 'em and I'm sure the LAST PERSON Jack wants getting near his ride is some damned crazy woman like you!" He shot off as he finally reached the stables. It seemed the angrier he got, the heavier his drawl became. "Chetan MAYBE, but George isn't here, MIssus, so I don't think you're goin' to be doin' any RIDIN' today."
And to prove his point he wriggled between her and the horses and stood his ground. He set his jaw stubbornly and his light eyes blazed.
((OKAY. CHETAN NOAZ.))
Chetan smiled around the table and then up at the ceiling. Suddenly, he was very glad he came. This was the sort of excitement he'd been waiting for, the sort of freedom he'd been hoping to find. "It'll be a real slight of hand..." And he laughed. "They'll never know the money is gone until they get where they going if we can do this right."
And the young Indian leaned forward on his elbows to impart the plan onto listening ears. It was a simple plan, but somehow wildly clever, something only Chetan himself would have been crazy enough to think up.
"We replace the horses." Chetan said with that wild grin of his. "With mine." And he looked to Jack, his black eyes gleaming with mischief.
"YOUR horses?" Sue demanded. "What's so great and good about your horses? And... where did a red man get six horses?"
Chetan laughed. "They're my herd... and they're wild."
Sue seemed to catch his meaning, and smiled slowly. Her scar slowly frowned.
"Stampede the rest of my herd, and the others will sure to follow. They'll be so busy fighting to figure out what's going on, they won't even know when we take what's theirs." Chetan looked back to Jack, bouncing his knees lightly.

Rose laughed wildly at Jim as he went on and on about how crazy she was and that she was just some insane woman. It was pretty much a compliment to her. All her life she was called crazy, stupid, insane, all those sorts of names, it simply told her people knew who she was. No need to put on some silly girl act and be matronly. "Oh man, Jim." Was all she said as she ran a hand over Jack's horse's mane and looked over to Jim.
"You think I'M ridin' him?" She raised her brows. "No you are the one talkin' mad talk. Why'd I want to ride him, when only a MAN can ride this horse here!" It was obvious she was trying to talk Jim into take him. "No woman deserves to be placed upon such a beast of the earth. No sir! I've got my own petite mare to ride. We'll just take them for a ride! No horse wants to be pent up all day doin' nothin'. Horses are wild creatures. They should be free." She walked over to Jim and leaned towards his ear.
"If we get caught, they ran with us, not because we let them out. Right? It's not our fault they're bored in this dump." With a short nod she started away, putting two fingers in her mouth. A loud whistle came from her lips and she said some crazy thing that sounded half Indian and half French before a pair of hooves came galloping towards her. It was a surprisingly large horse, snow white with a single patch of black over its right eye. In its hair was an eagle feather and it appeared to be wild until it came quietly to Rose's side and she jumped up onto him.
"That horse ain't for me, remember, that's a man's horse. This here, this here's my horse, if I rode any other I'd be betraying him. Go on, you stay here then. I'm going to go have some fun. You'd be a sad one not to come along." She patted the horse's side and he turned around calmly before starting at a slow pace, as if waiting for the other horses to come with him.
((Hahaha...she's strange.))

And Jim said, "Yeah! Well! I HAS MY OWN HORSE LADY, AND HE'S MY HORSE, NOT SOME MAN'S HORSE. I don't even know what you're going ON about! YOU'RE A CRAZY b***h! YOU NEED TO READ WHAT ALL ELSE WENT ON. SERIOUSLY."
And then Chetan said something like: "YOUNG MAN SUCH LANGUAGE!!!!!"
And they all decided to part ways because... um. Well. Jim and Chetan went to be awesome Indian people. Jack went on to rob everyone and married that one really ugly chick named Sue... they had really ugly children... but George has the best ending EVUR.
George lived on and got married to Rose's horse AND IT WAS SO ROMANTIC. And had little horses and they ROAMED THE FRONTIER FOR YEARS AND YEARS. AND THEY ATE GRASS AND RAN THROUGH WATER ALL SLOW MOTION LIKE.
Until land developments moved in.
Then they were sad.
AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
