[Begin]



Kirgha: -Collapses on the ground, thankful that the children are sleeping-


Jasper: ~Jumps ontop of Kirgha and nibbles her ear, bouncing still hyped from the day~ Kiiiirgha can we play adult time now?


Kirgha: Ugh. -Sinks even lower, realizing how Lupo felt when she raised the three of them- I'm a little tired Jasper... -Frowns slightly as she glances up at him-


Jasper: Oh... ~Pouts slightly and rolls off nibbling gently on her paw~ Ok... Maybe tomorrow? ~Perks up again~


Kirgha: -Looks up at Jasper and moves closer, nuzzling her head up against him gently- Maybe... -Says in a half lulled voice, her eyes shut-


Jasper: ~Leans his chin on her head and whispers~ I'm happy that we have new play friends, their so fun! ~Settles down his breathing and closes his eyes~ Even if some don't play all the time.


Kirgha: -Her pink eyes flit upward to look at him and she lets out a soft sigh- They're more than that Jasper... They're our children... -Swallows a little as that thought hits her, she still felt somewhat strange about this whole thing. She half wanted things to go back to the way they use to be, when he was sweet to her, and played with her.. not just the adult playing, however, she knew it was selfish to think that-



Jasper: ~Yawns~ Well yea but.... ~Sighs~ I don't real know what else to do than... play.... I can play hunt more? Then we could have more Adult play... The butterfly's never go away ya'know... ~Trying his best to be heartfelt feeling quite awkward about talking about serious things and not making a joke or goofing off~


Kirgha: -Sighs and looks down, feeling drained- I miss... I miss the fun that we use to have... you know.. running through the woods, chasing each other... wrestling.. I know most of that time is spent on the kids now.. -Looks down, thinking- Jasper... -Frowns and muses, unsure if she knows how to word this- Do you... do you love me..? Or was... this a fluke? -Eyes pinned to the grass below her-


Jasper: ~Goes to speak as his eyes widen to what felt the size of the moon, was this love? He'd never felt love before he only really knew the simple things in life but he defiantly liked Kirgha the most of all their friends, and there were things that he only felt inside him when around her~ I.. I Think so. ~He gulped, trying to think of words to explain all this, wasn't this the way things were supposed to got? You meet, you have feelings you have a family... the end. What was all this emotional stuff...~ I mean.. I... ~He sighed remember back to when it was just the two of them alone and exploring~ I miss playing with you.


Kirgha: I see... -She nodded slowly and stood up, turning her back to him. She couldn't let him see her cry, or see that she upset. She let out a soft sigh, low enough that there was a good chance he didn't even hear- I've loved you since we were kids.. -Her voice was quiet as her head turned to view a distant object before she began stepping away-


Jasper: ~Blinks and moves back as she stands, staring as the silence of the night begins to feel eerie, everything was so comfortable he couldn't of asked for more. Wait.. was she going somewhere? He took a double take at her words, sighing he took a few minutes as he watched her leaving to go through his thought process....

They're hatched together... they'd played together she was his closest friend he always preferred her, sometimes she didn't want to play and that annoyed him but he never stopped liking her...
Now she was leaving, would she come back? Would be left on his own... No NO WAY he'd felt stupid he wanted to say how he felt more often and more precisely but it just felt silly to him, when Kirgha told him it made him feel so good was he withdrawing that from her? That feeling... he was so naive... but he knew one thing he didn't want to loose her, not as a friend as a mate as a Mother to their... children...and not as...

He called out to her "Wait no you can't leave! I Do! I love you!" Jasper darted forward and pounced on her taking her down and upon noticing the tears he began to lick them away. "You can't.. you've always been there... I'd be lost without you Kirgha" He pouted and felt the tears welling up behind his own eyes, he'd never felt this way before... his heart was beginning to sting.

...The love of his life.


Kirgha couldn't help but blink at the reaction. She hadn't exactly expected that, however, staring up at him now she couldn't help but smile a little. "You act so silly sometimes... I was just going to lay down." She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close so she could lick at his own tears. "I could never leave you Jasper... Even if you didn't love me.. I'm too in love with you to leave, I always have been.. and I know I always will be.." She lifted her head, nosing away the rest of the tears into a nuzzle. "Do you truly love me Jasper? Or were you just afraid of me leaving? I guess it doesn't matter even if that is the case... but if you really do love me..." Her eyes danced to the ground, a blush painting her cheeks. She had waited for a long time to hear him say those words..


Wrapping his arms around her he sniffed back his sobs, now more than ever he felt childish, crying a new concept for him, nothing had ever pushed him to tears. Wrapping his paws around her his smile returned as the warmth of their love over-whelmed him, all of her words only had one answer in his head which he spoke slightly muffed but very quickly "I do love you and I don't want you to leave!" He held her tightly and nuzzled back, he'd never heard her speak so much, he'd always been the one in lead, the one in charge or so he thought whilst Kirgha would smile and play along and now it was reversed and strangely... he felt fine with that.


Kirgha blushed even more in the moments after she spoke. It had taken her a while, but she realized too that that was the most she had ever spoken. She was use to being the quiet one who was just there lurking in the background, but with Jasper.. with him it was different. Whenever she was around him she felt alive, she felt as if someone actually noticed her. She imagined that was probably what first attracted her to him, he actually took the time to spend with her, making her feel like she was special to at least one dragon in the world. "I'll never leave.." She said quietly, moving closer to him, her head now on his shoulder as she continued to nuzzle. "You just made me the happiest dragon in all the world.. why would I leave?" She smiled brightly, the warmth of the moment overwhelming her. Finally... finally hearing those words after all this time... she couldn't ask for any more.


"Well... Maybe your as silly as me?" Jasper chuckled and leaned back to gaze into her eyes, they were nice eyes, Shiny and allured him to do what he had always felt the right to do but now knew in his heart was right. Leaning forward he licked her nose playfully then slowly nuzzled from there to her ear, before pulling a completely Jasper like stunt and Whisking her up onto his back and beginning to run in circles "I now declare this Adult play time!" For once he hadn't meant the usual sort of adult playing but the way they used to play as children, and teens and well... before their own children had arrived. Jasper felt good, inside he was tingly and it was a nice feeling, he knew where he and Kirgha stood and something just felt perfect right here in this moment.


Kirgha couldn't help but let out a purr. All of this had been so perfect and amazing.. Jasper was amazing and she knew it. She didn't want this moment to end. When he swept her up she giggled, clinging to his back as he rumped about, Kirgha enjoyed every moment of it, laughing and playing along as she nipped at his ear. "Faster!"

"Hey... what's going on?" A thin voice asked amongst all the noise. Chalce stared up at his parents as he wiped the sleep away, slightly disgusted by what he saw. "Ewww... sorry I asked..."


Jasper had already increased the speed but decided to up it a notch at her demand "Bucking Boar!" He began to suddenly alter his directions to make for a bumpy ride, skidding here and there Thoroughly enjoying himself. Kirgha's laughter only encouraging him to carry on even through the arrival of one of their sons, "Mummy and Daddy are having some Adult time" Stifles a chuckle as he starts charging towards Chalce "Back to bed before Daddy Crashes!"


Kirgha squeaked as she tried to hold on tightly to him, she could feel the jerky movements causing her arms to slip but she pried herself onto him, laughing the whole time. "Faster horsey, faster!" Her eyes shifted when she felt the vibration of Jasper's lungs, seeing Chalce and hearing what he said she could only chuckle, for once being the carefree girl she use to be around Jasper instead of the mother she had become, "I'd listen to your father Chalce!"

Eh?" Chalce flinched when the much bigger male came tumbling toward him. Chalce was a little too sleepy to enjoy this game so early in the morning, especially when his parents had woke him from a perfectly good dream and were carrying on like a bunch of children! How dare they? Besides, Daddy was suppose to be his playmate, not Mommy's. "Ack!" He scampered up when realizing his father was still coming after him, skidding as quickly as he could into a spot next to Lucy.


Jasper carried on till he reached the stopping point, letting his paws skid and halting just before the bushes that hid their pups from harm. Panting a little at all the excitement the orange male beamed proudly despite the grumbles from Chalce, and the whining from his smallest daughter who had just received quite a knock from her brother. "Still a few hours before dawn, back to your dreams." Nodding he was still feeling good this was usually Kirgha's job along with everything else that didn't involve manic amount of playing in any form. The change was starting to spread he could feel that these were indeed not just toys but small forms of him and Kirgha and they were his children, he still wanted to play but with Kirgha and that meant they all needed to be asleep and out of the way. They would get their play time in the morning, after breakfast... he was glad they'd all had a big dinner, sending them out and letting the adults have a little extra energy but even then... he was beginning to feel his eyelids drooping.


Kirgha slid off his back and smiled brightly, nosing his cheek in a deep amount of affection. "Thank you.." She cooed, her eyes slowly falling shut as she just enjoyed being close to him. For once... probably even for the first time, she felt as though they might actually be a real family. "This will all be alright in the end, won't it?" She mumbled, her eyes moving over the orange male she had come to love. Purring still, she nuzzled him and then nudged him off to bed. "I think.. its bed time even for us.. and if we don't get some fun tonight.. I'll make sure to make it up to you tomorrow." A mischievous grin played at her lips as she began to walk away, her tail swaying back and forth at a satisfied pace.


Jasper was a little far away staring at the pups when she began to speak, turning suddenly he grinned his usual goofy smile and nodded "Yea... Not that I'd admit it but actually" He looked around suspiciously and leaned into whisper "I'm a little tired" moving back he winked and cackled quietly at the last part of her sentence before trotting quite happily after like a good boy, catching up to her side just in time to lie down with her. Curling up around her Jasper nibbled on her ear affectionately rather than passionately and whispered his last words for the night "It will be all be fine, you've got me... whats the worst that could happen" He grinned and licked her once more before settling into a deep slumber, it had been a busy day playing followed by a busy nights talking and playing.
