All I have is a crappy Esteban amp that I got for 60 bucks, all it has is a master volume, an overdrive, and equalizers. So, the guys at the local guitar shop that I frequent are always telling me how awesome the micro spider amps are, every one of them say it's a great amp. Of course they're the last ones I should trust, it is a buisiness after all. They're the only amps they have that are less than $200, and that's about as much as I'm willing to put out for an amp as of now. So, I just want to know if it's any good or not. And if not, what amp would you recommend to me?

Look on Musiciansfriend, or zzound for amps to compare prices. That music store sounds like a major rip off if you ask me though.

I probably won't even touch my electric guitar until I get a better amp, which is probably till Christmas. It kinda sucks, my piece of crap amp is making me discouraged in a way. I can play the stuff perfectly, but it comes out sounding like s**t. Would you suggest anything, though?

Master of the Telecaster What kind of music do you play and what is your budget? I mostly play punk rock, metal and alternative. My budget is in the 150$-$200 range.
