I just wrote this one for the poetry game in my dragon guild and thought I would share it to see how you like it.
A Dragon's Love
Let me tell you a tale It happened long ago In the land of the weirdies Where it never snows.
There once lived a dragon Dark as night were it's scales And a faerie so lovely All else in life pales.
The dragon, it slaughtered The faeries whole village It burned and it razed And it's plunder it pillaged.
But the faerie, she lived And to this day still breathes For the dragon you see Felt his dark heart heave.
When he saw the fair maiden Lying still on the ground With her face wet with tears Not a hint of a sound.
He took the still faerie And back to his lair To keep her forever His maiden so fair.

While reading your poem I could see it all happening, as if it were a movie. You're good! No, I mean REALLY good.
(Told you I was going to say it.) lol

Thank you Linder. I could see it all happening too, but that's probably because I have watched practically every movie made that has had a dragon in it.

I can't say I've watched every movie that has a dragon in it, but if I know there's going to be one, I'll watch a movie specifically for that reason. When I was a kid I always wanted a gigantic blue one with deep purple eyes and pink and green wings. I still want one, although it probably wouldn't be quite so colorful!
