THIS IS A 1X1 FOR ME AND LIGHTSHADE

Shin Jong. A province in Japan in the Kanbun (Early Edo) era. Ruled by an old, powerful and ruthless feudal lord. A man hat with the time had earned a lot of respect and even more enemies. He was widowed. his wife died giving birth to his only child. A son. One most fathers would be proud of but not him. The boy had charm, strength and great knowledge, but he was a disappointment to his father. Unlike the old man the boy tried to associate and help the peasants give. he wanted to lower the taxes and better their lives. To make a smaller military presence and even give back lands to the other provinces in exchange for loyalty. Such things where unforgivable in the eyes of his father as as the boy grew older the two became more and more distant.

Personality: Mostly calm and nice. He is usually gentle and caring, but if there is work to be done, or he must give a command he can turn rather strict. Even in his nicest moments Akihito has the aura of dominance around him which makes him seem untouchable.
Bio: His mother died at birth and he spent most of his childhood being tossed around by nanny's and teachers. barely ever having the chance to meet his always busy father. As he grew older the young man also grew determined to oppose his father and make the life for the people easier. There where a few assassination and kidnapping attempts on him thanks to his fathers ways and he was sure that once he took control he was going to change everything and never be so cruel to his own child. At one of the kidnapping attempts when he was young was started a fire and his left arm was burned severely. it took a lot of training to make it usable again but it is scarred badly.
Preferred weapon: A double edged katana, but he barely ever touches it.
Likes/Interests/Hobbies: Reading, walks in the garden, sakura trees, peace, goodness in people, his horse
Dislikes: war, the suffocating feeling of the bigger cites, winter, fights, people that would do anything to win.
Other: Usually wears blue/white clothes but always keeps his left arm covered fully.
