Shin-lu was cooking sausages and eggs when Graff asked the question about her style. "Name for my style?...err, let's see.." Shin-lu had a flashback as she continued cooking.

[flashback]

A very small, wrinkled shrival of a woman pointed a wooden staff at Shin-lu. "Young girl, be grateful, I have decided to train you as my apprentice. You understand that this will be hard work and will work you to the bone, yet you decided to stay. That is admirable. Shin-lu, I will then teach you my fighting style of-"

Shin-lu was looking to the side, eyeing a large snake near the window that seemed poised to strike at any moment.

[end flashback]

"Hunh.." Shin-lu said as she put the sausages and eggs on a plate and then caught the toast as it..(wait, do we have a toaster?...eh) and then set the plate in front of Graff. "Hmm, I guess i never did learn the name of the style. But I remember my master's name was Ruri, a really really small woman. Though, she lived as a hermit in the woods, so I don't know if anyone knew her." She said as she went to the kitchen for that beer.

Ilyana licked the plate and then watched Shin-lu go to get drinks. "Orange juice." She called after her.

Shin-lu stopped heading to the others as more gobkins surrounded her and Ilyana. Shin-lu grinned, they had no idea who they were messing with. She went back and tapped Ilyana on the shoulder, the mage looked up from eating charred gobkin meat. “Let’s do this!” The two seemed to have some sort of aura forming around them. Ilyana then ripped out two more pages of her tome and then lightning struck down onto Shin-lu’s rapiers. Shin-lu then charged the nearest two gobkin and let out a flurry of lightning blasts and slashes, the brilliant light and sting of the blades throwing the gobkins so out of balance they could do nothing but get chopped into pieces. “Unity Attack: Vegas Barrage!”

Ilyana then dove and rolled to avoid the next gobkin’s attack and ended up next to shin-lu again, tearing out two more pages of her tome. Shin-lu then took out her bow and arrow as the fire from one page engulfed the tips of her arrows. The other page summoned an ice comet as it hurled to the area. Shin-lu pointed her arrow up and let her fire arrow fly. The arrow struck the comet and it broke into shards as it rained down and shredded three more of the gobkins. “Unity…Attack:…Hail Purge…so hungry..”

There were now two gobkins left and after the dazzling, powerful attacks that destroyed their comrades, they had no other idea other than to hightail it out of there. Shin-lu watched them run before drawing two more arrows. Ilyana tore out another page of her tome. A wind vortex opened up ahead of Shin-lu. Shin-lu fired her arrows and they accelerated throw the vortex, streaming through to air to impale onto the gobkins’ heads. Shin-lu smiled as she patted Ilyana on the head. “Unity Attack: Vortex Shooter!”
