According to previous research, and as you all know, Guerilla Warfare is short for hit and run speed attacks.

I will tell you a little bit about something you don't know.

Gorilla Warfare originated in Iran, during the time of the Greco-Persian war, of course you all know the Middle East this is a popular style of fighting.
The army of Alexander the Great was the first to use this tactic, but the civilization to give it it's name was the Parthian Civilization. Alexander the Great had a magnificent army full of skilled fighters and archers. The cataphract army (cataphract is a short sword mounted on a horse, speed mercenary type fighter*) And Alexander crushed the Parthians, who took the ideas home with them. After the death of Alexander the Great and at the end of the era, they used this fighting tactic to conquer their enemy. Today, Parthian Tactics is now known as gorilla warfare because of the Parthians.

*The Cataphract was a similar unit from the army of Alexander The Great, which originated in ancient Byzantium, but lacked such skill.

I have no idea if we can do Gorilla Warfare in towns, I was reading this because the Parthian Army used only horses.

Yes you are correct.

The word "guerrilla" means small war,

"gorilla" is a large ape.

The first time guerrilla tactics where used was maybe in the Greco-Persian War.

But, the word itself is spanish and originated in the Peninsular War, which started when the french invaded Portugal and Spain in 1807-08.

It's not only quick hit and run tatics. It's also laying traps or lieing in wait and then springing out on your opponent. Basically anything sneaky in war is Guerrilla Tactics. twisted

By definition, guerrilla means...

"A member of a band of irregular soldiers that uses guerrilla warfare, harassing the enemy by surprise raids, sabotaging communication and supply lines, etc."

Pretty much all the things I love to do. So, it's pretty much just a few warriors ambushing a larger amount of enemies.
